Level 2 - 1 - Dungeon of the Mad Mage (All Tiers)

Down to the Arcane Chambers...

This is the north half of Level 2 of Dungeon of the Mad Mage (Maps A, B, and C).  The above image is a composite of the first 3 maps on this level, of which you will find the zipped files below.

Here is a breakdown of Level 2 maps:

Mapping wise, everything should line up to the source book well.  The goblin market area (1D) is alive and busy - make sure to add lots of tokens in to fill out the effect.  Yek's Treasure (1E) is hilariously small as described for the room - I think it's perfect of a goblin trying to making him self seem more important than he is (ie. guards protecting an almost empty room).  For room 10A+B on Map B - you will see a version labelled water - this has roof 10B flooded as described.  However, the other maps do not have any water and you will find tokens/tiles (.png images) in the zip folders: the intent is to use these to stage the scene as before/during after like shown below.  They should be proportioned correctly to drop over the rooms.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this when I did the original post - I did the math on the water in room 10a+b because it didn't quite seem right.  The book description of 10a correctly states that it contains 24,000 cu ft of water; however, once it floods out, it gets the depth wrong.  The floor area of 10a+b is 5300 sq ft, which means 24,000 cu ft of water makes it 4.5 ft deep in both rooms, instead of the "inches" described.  Does it matter? Probably not.

Files. I have included both Background "_BG_" and Transparent "_TP_" versions of each map; background means it has a flat grey image behind the dungeon, transparent means there is nothing there. For the Roll20 versions, this means the background version is a jpg while the transparent version is a png (jpgs don't support transparency); Foundry are both dd2vtt files. IF you want to puzzle piece all the sections together like above (NOT RECOMMENDED), you have the transparent versions available for that. However, if you set up each map to an individual scene, you could use either, but the _BG_ jpgs will meet the file size limits for Roll20 (TP pngs may not!). 

The zip files below have Level 2 Maps A,B, and C as well as a GM overlay for each map.  
Each zip (except printable) also includes the water tokens/tiles for room 10A+B.  Roll20Free is a .jpg < 5MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 10MB, while Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100px (this also holds true for the transparent images).

The top left portion of map A is incorrect. The room and dead end hallway should be positioned one grid unit further to the south.

Are you using the jpgs or the pngs? The png's often will go over the file size limits, but are included for people if they want to stitch together sections or use an uncompressed image file in other VTTs. All the jpgs should be under 20.

Parts of this map (A & C) are apparently too large for PaidRoll20 and are over 20MB.
