Trollskull Manor - Waterdeep Dragon Heist (All Tiers)

Welcome to Trollskull Manor.  This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom corner lot is perfectly situated in the up-and-coming neighborhood of North Ward.  It is a bit of a fixer-up that will be a true gem of Trollskull Alley in the right hands.  It boasts 5 floors, spacious main floor taproom, and a poorly stocked wine cellar.  New owners assume responsibility for any poltergeists. Congratulations, you are the proud new owners of this dump...

Map Notes. These maps are my revisited version of the maps after I fixed some previous errors and cleaned up the files. There different variations of this map depending on when your party might be in the manor house. This includes:

Files. Attached you will find 1 zip for each season, which includes the "Disrepaired" versions for all platforms (still separated into subfolders for each platform).  You will also find 1 zip for the "Repaired version" (Autumn/Summer only).

There were a bunch of different variants this time, so here's a list of all of them:

The stairs are outside! Top right corner - leads to the second story. Well designed for adventurers, to avoid inquisitive looks from tavern patrons when you return reeking of the sewers or covered in blood.

Ian

My players entered the manor last night and asked a questions I couldn't find an answer for: how do you get upstairs from the ground level? There is no stair case! Any insights?

Patrick K.

Oops my bad! I unfortunately still don't have an answer as I'm not terribly familiar with how the Levels module works beyond basic premise of what it does. I see you've asked on discord so I hope someone can provide some further help!

Ian

Thanks for the answer! I guess I should have been clearer -- by "these maps" I meant specifically the revisited Trollskull Manor (and Yawning Portal) maps, which have the _LEVELS files. I was hoping there was a way to intuitively import them without having to redraw the walls and doors myself, but I'll be sure to ask around in the discord and see if anyone has any advice! Thanks again for all the great maps!

Santiago

Some of my Waterdeep maps unfortunately weren't created with Levels/BR in mind, especially some of the earlier ones when I was still learning the software (both DD and Foundry). Most of my maps are designed more with something like Multilevel Tokens (or Monk's Active Tiles, using teleport functions). I know there have been a couple folks on the Tych Maps Discord Server who have been working on doing this so you may be better off asking for some ideas on there. Most likely - you'll need to modify the Dungeondraft map files to remove extra content from upper levels, then export to Foundry and build it there. Some later maps should be much more set up to do this easily.

Ian

Thanks so much for doing this! What exactly would be the best process for importing these maps into Foundry as one multilevel map (using Levels and Better Roofs)?

Santiago

Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!! I'm so freakin excited!!!!! My players and I are gonna have a blast as they clean up the manor :D

Simsiloquy

Just Trollskull and its right where you said. Thank you for your quick response!

Tosari

For Trollskull? Or for all of the maps? Trollskull, yes there is an empty version included in the zip file on the Tier 2 post. The others, no I don't unfortunately.

Ian

Don't suppose you have dungeondraft blank maps? Wife wants to decorate and furnish her way for the Dragon Heist adventure group.
