Happy Monday, my hidden lil' eggs!
Easter isn't a holiday that's all that important to me. It's another one that's short of shed its religious contexts for something much more mainstream and capitalist (and frankly weird) here in the States, and as a not-religious person and somebody who doesn't look good in large swaths of pastels, it's really just not my thing. But the imagery can be cute, and who doesn't love a pair of bunny ears?
I spent much of my weekend sorting through my retro video game collection seeing what games I'm going to part with in the near future (gotta pay for that Switch 2 somehow!), and also packing the remaining orders from the big Etsy shop drop last week, so I was honestly just excited to draw anything today because I hadn't done any of that all weekend, and Easter just sorta sprung to mind. I regret nothing, it's a pretty cute doodle if I do say so myself!
Big thanks to all of you who ordered something from my shop over the past few days, by the way! The drop was much more of a success than I anticipated, given the tumultuous financial nature of things, and I really appreciate your support. It means so much to me, thank you. I hope the stickers and prints bring you joy in an otherwise tricky time.
Heads up: the May sticker theme poll will be up tomorrow. It's coming later in the month than usual as I wanted my focus to be on the shop drop, but I feel confident I'll get everything ready in time to send out May stickers on time. Keep an eye out for that poll!
See you then!
