Happy Thursday, fashion bugs!

In the continuing tradition of me redoing some old favorites/best-sellers, we've got this guy. I believe the original version I called "Sunday Best" because I'd drawn and posted it on an Easter a handful of years ago. It was only ever meant to be a sketch - which it sort of is, the lines aren't what I'd consider properly inked as far as my usual process goes - but people dug it and I wound up selling it as a print.

I toiled over the sketch to find a pose that really worked for this new version, and I like how it all came together in the inks. I'm going for that "flash fashion photography" look with the displaced black shadow. I hope it'll feel even more like that once it's all colored. The original piece was always meant more as a showcase of a cute idea for a look as opposed to a pinup, so I thought it'd be fun to push this one further in the pinup direction while still retaining its fashion-inspired roots.

Hoping to give it a little more visual interest in the final colored version. Also, not gonna be using that purple because it prints like ass, lemme tell ya.
