SKETCH - Water Fairy

Spent a lot of time banging out ideas (mostly non-pinup) on my ipad yesterday, but stopped long enough to draft up this cutie. I'm back on my fairy bullshit, I suppose!
Water was always my favorite of the four main elements as a kid. I liked swimming well enough, but mostly I just liked the aesthetic of water and things that were associated with it. Water types were my favorite Pokemon type (which is no longer true - now I favor Fairy and Psychic types, the cuties and the weirdos respectively - but I still like Water types too). The Water Temple in Ocarina of Time? Yeah it was a pain in the butt, but it was so mysterious and serene and foreboding at the same time. And it had a gelatinous blob as its boss fight, an evil swimming pool basically. Very baby-Drew-coded.

Thanks! I adore Seattle! I can't really afford an impromptu end-of-the-month trip but I'd love to get back up there again soon. Maybe I'll see what conventions/markets are coming up or something.
