Hey folks!
I just wanted to hop in today to say that the Art Night Market here in Burbank was a big ol'...SUCCESS! I had low expectations, you just never know how these things are gonna go and what the crowd's gonna be like, but the whole thing was positive and fun and sales were way better than I anticipated.
I spent much of the past week over-preparing and making it a whole project, which I think I ultimately just needed to do for my own soul. I'm glad all of the hard work was worth it. The gashapon machine was a big hit, especially. I'm tickled pink! (I'll post more pictures of that in the near future.)
Some of you from here on my Patreon even stopped by to say hi, so to you I give an extra big thank you! <3 <3 <3
The second picture here was taken by my dear friend Mikey, so thank you for that Mikey! I rarely got out from behind my table the whole night so it's good to have a picture of the booth as a whole.
I'll try and do better about posting sketches and stuff this coming week, bringing things back to normal after a week with my nose against the grindstone. Today I'm gonna count my inventory so I can update my Etsy listings (and add the Barret and Angewomon prints!) and then I'm gonna take the rest of the day off. Phew!
See you next post!
