Sakura rapped gently on the Commander’s door. She had arrived early for a regular counseling session. Sakura was quite punctual and always arrived with ample time, but this was earlier than usual. She took a deep breath and focused on calming her emotions. Her heart always stirred when she was with the Commander, and these counseling sessions were the best opportunity to have him to herself. Even so, she had to maintain appearances.
The door opened, and the Commander was on the other side. He smiled and stepped out of the way, allowing Sakura inside. “Hello, Sakura. You’re a bit earlier than expected. Let me get some tea going.”
