A: I like Flavius because he's ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶b̶i̶t̶c̶h̶ very arrogant: exploring the flaws of all the characters we create is always very satisfying, to me, even more than thinking about their "good sides".
Flavius is always very sure of himself, and he always thinks "why wouldn't I be?": he's smart, charismatic, rich, and powerful. At the same time, his arrogance was the downfall of his relationship with Iulius, but did that stop him? Well... not on the outside. Flavius doesn't want to appear weak or vulnerable, not even to his most intimate friends.
