[1 Year After Coming To the Past]

Kirito was currently lurking around the districts of Konoha. It was already night and was waiting for the right time.

It already has been one year since he came to this world and he knew that within another year, he had to go back to his time because the Shippuden storyline would start and Naruto would be coming back to the village.

After wasting time, he was ready to go back. Because he knew that the time had finally come.

Kirito immediately teleported from this place and appeared in his room in the Senju Mansion.

In the last year, many times the elders and even the Hokage forced Mito Uzumaki to transfer the Nine Tail into kushina. But Mito refused saying that she still had some time to live and wanted to spend her remaining time with Tsunade, Kushina and Asuna.

Well although what she said was true in reality, she also wanted to hold back the elders as much as possible while they still lived. Kirito and Mito both knew that after her death, the elders were going to completely take control of Kushina's life. Not to mention they will also target, Asuna and Kirito. The only reason they are not doing this right now is because Mito is still there.

And this is exactly why Kirito wants to take care of all the elders and even the Hokage as soon as possible. Tonight, he was about to do exactly that.

Kirito did not have complete knowledge about this but he knew that something like this happened in the anime where the third Raikage had to fight with the Eight Tail.

"I wonder who fought and took control of the Eight Tail this time around. Not to mention, how much casualty this time around the cloud village suffer." Kirito questions with an amused face and that is because of a good reason.

This actually triggered a chain reaction. The military power of the Cloud Village must have suffered a lot because after that, the Rock Village suddenly declared war on the Cloud Village and this was not something which happened in the cannon.

In fact, Kirito did not think that this other village would even go into a war when their personal power declined so much in the war of Whirlpool. If not anything, all three villages at least lost the fighting force of around 5000 shinobi which is still a huge loss.

Kirito is not sure how this is going to change end but he sure is going to use this for his benefit.

He quickly took out all the important things he needed for this assignment. He already had everything planned out and his clones in the right positions. While Taking out all the important things he needed, he saw a box in the corner.

"Yeah then there is this little thing" Kirito muttered to himself and signed with a complicated expression.

This was a box which Ashina gave him around half a year ago.

Ashina explained to him a very assured story and then gave him this box saying that he was the only one who could open this box and the thing in this box would give him all the answers he needed.

Kirito had no idea what he was supposed to think about that. It's not like he was about to stay in this world for a long time anyway.

Kirito just shook his head and removed all the pointless thoughts from his mind.

"No point thinking about that right now. I need to focus on the mission I have right in front of me" Kirito reminded himself and got ready.

Currently, all the elders were in the meeting. It was late at night but they were present because the situation demanded it.

"Are you sure that the Hidden Mist is also entering into his War? What about Sand and the Whirlpool" asked Hamura.

Once again turmoil was raging in the shinobi world and all-important decision-making shinobi/elders were called by Hokage to plan how Konoha was going to react to this upcoming war.

But in reality, this war was not completely natural. Although it looked like it was caused because of the natural greed of the leader of those villages in reality, black Zetsu manipulated the situation behind the back.

But that was not the only thing. Kirito too ended up manipulating things behinds the scence after the war started. He wanted to make things much more chaotic and add more villages to make this situation a bigger deal than it should have been. This is all just so that after the successful assassination of the Hokage and other elders. He can push all the blame on the other villages.

"We are not sure about the Whirlpool but the Hidden Sand will be joining the war. Now out of all the five big villages (Excluding Whirlpool), four are already involved" Danzo said with a little sneer. Trying to find out how to use this situation for his own benefit.

"What is the possibility that the war will turn its head towards Leaf" Hokage asked fully knowing that currently, they are the strongest village in the elemental nation. This was especially true after the War of Whirlpool.

"Why are you letting that boy stay in the village Sarutobi? He is dangerous" Danzo thought and sneered because every time he talked about this with the Hokage the only answer he got was "We can't do anything about him right now. Leave that kid for the time being. At least until Mito Sama is still there. We can't take any action against either the boy or the next Jinchuriki".

Danzo remembers the talk and gritted his teeth. While this talk was going on there were many people Shinobi patrolling the Hokage Building and even the meeting hall, there was many Root and normal Anbu guarding the elders.

But among all those people, there was one shinobi who should not be there. It was one of Danzo's roots. This Root was waiting for the right time to act.

This root member was none other than Kirito's clone who ended up taking the place of one of Danzo's roots. He was waiting for Kirito to come and start the plan.

No one was able to sense him because Kirito already had perfected and replicated the chakra signature of the root member whom he wanted to replace. Not to mention, unlike last time, here Kirito also had a way to stop that Hyuga clan member from spoiling his plan as well because he long developed a seal that can do.

He was acting just like any other root member. Kirito especially took this long time to make sure that his plan worked out without any problem and thus at this point he already had enough knowledge of how the Root and Anbu behave.

"It seems like it's time to act. Let's take out all these old elders and plague to this village according to Uzumaki Mito in one move" The clone thought to himself and quickly activated the technique which Kirito placed a long time ago only for this reason.
