NARUTO THE UNTOUCHABLE FAIRY TAIL ARC CHAPTER 8 : FIND THE BOOK

I and Lucy ended up sleeping in different rooms. I slept on the couch and I don't particularly mind. It's a huge upgrade that from sleeping in the out open on a rocky surface and not to mention there is also the fact that we have to be on a constant guard because enemies can just kill us in our sleep.

Nothing more interesting happened in the night.

On the next day, I ended up waking early as usually do. I was hungry as hell so I went to make something for myself. Considering that right now I also have a roommate. I thought that I should make something for her as well.

When Lucy woke up, She found all the food already make and a hot coffee for her early in the morning.

'Wow, that's so nice. Waking up and getting a coffee from a handsome boyfriend and then he kiss me ' Lucy thought but stopped mid-way because she realizes what exactly she was thinking.

The first thing I did was to buy new clothes for myself. I left Lucy alone while she was having her breakfast and went to get some more normal clothes.

By the time I was back at the house, I heard Natsu there.

"What are you doing here" Lucy shouted.

"Natsu, what are you doing here," I asked him.

I also looked towards Lucy who was only wearing a towel. I blink.

"Did I come in the wrong time?" I said teasing Lucy.

"No no no, that's not the case. It's not like what you are thinking" Lucy looked very flustered and I just smile.

"Calm down Lucy I am just messing with ya" I said.

Lucy at this just pouted.

"You love him" Happy chirps from the side.

"Shut it cat" Lucy shouted.

In the end, Natsu took out a question paper. It was about destroying a book. Jin could not remember this quest, meaning that this quest should not be that important.

It's not like the anime is going to throw such an important quest towards the audience so quickly.

All four of us ended up joining the quest. And yes I counted Happy in the counting.

We directly visited the person who posted the quest. According to this man. His father's last work called Day Break is a book which he wants. Or more like he wants to destroy the book.

Only later on we decided that Natsu only approach Lucy because she is blond and the person who had to book was looking for a blond maid.

All for nothing.

"Its okay Lucy. Different people have different tastes. Don't mind this" I said to the crying Lucy who was rejected as the maid by the person who have the daybreak.

The kind of women he liked was, well let say is a different kind of beauty.

So we ended up infiltrating the castle and stealing the book. More like destroying it.

"We need to stay quiet," I said and my years of Shinobi training. Doing this was no issue.

"Like a ninja," Lucy said.

For some reason, this bought a smile on Natsu's face and he started to act like a ninja. Or at least his version of a Ninja. He cover his face with his scarf and pretended to be a ninja even when the maids of the mansion attacked us.

"Dude, what are you doing? We need to make less noise." I said but it was pointless.

Fast forward, we finally found the book which we needed to destroy but apparently, Lucy liked the book and was not ready to hand it over.

I hardly cared about this. By the way, did I say how much those couples are paying us for destroying this book? It's 2 million jewels.

That's serious good money.

But the situation change when suddenly two mages from the mercenary guild enter the room.

Natsu naturally was the first one to enter the battle. I hardly care about this fight. I mean why bullies children?

For someone who has kicked even Madara's ass. I might really don't get much action here until a little further in the canon.

Lucy ended up running away and I thought that I better follow her than watch this boring battle of Natsu and these 2 morons.

When I arrive, Lucy was grabbed by that moustache man. Maybe they told me his name but I don't bother to remember.

I sign and took out a kunai. And with a flick of my wrist, it directly stuck the man's arm. He let Lucy go.

I did not even give him time to do anything more as I directly appear in front of him and knock him out with a punch.

Guess what, the fight ended there.

No world-threatening crises or anything. Fighting an alien who came to destroy the planet.

"I should have gone to some other world-like attack on Titan or something. This word is just too innocent for someone like me" I muttered in irritation.

In the end, we found out that the book was a message to his son. Maybe that was the only good thing about this quest but we did not get paid.

"So we are going back," I asked and both Natsu and Lucy nodded.

Lucy was depressed by all the work she did but in the end, did not get any money.
