NARUTO PLAYERS OF CHAOS CHAPTER 10 : SHISUI'S DEATH AFTERMATH

The Meeting which Hokage arranged after Shisui’s death was not very peaceful.

Danzo was directly put in a defensive position. Unlike in the canon, where Hiruzen did not have any proof against Danzo. This time around Hiruzen did not only have Danzo’s root people who died back then but also Kagami who actually saw the entire thing.

Of course, Hiruzen is not looking forwards to punishing Danzo but rather to reduce his influence and decrease his power.

“Lately, Danzo has been getting a little strong for my liking and this gives me the perfect chance to snatch some of his powers from him.” was what Hiruzen's true intention was.

Of course, he also wanted to take Shisui’s eyes which were with Danzo.

Before Shisui’s dead. He told the elders about his Mangekyo Sharingan ability. No wonder Danzo was after him.

Although Shisui wanted to use his power for the village and change Fugaku's will so he can bring peace between his clan and the village. Danzo ended up killing him.

Hiruzen already knew why Danzo would have killed him and after seeing Shisui’s corpse without his eyes, he is sure that Danzo killed Shisui because he was after his power.

“Enough, I have already talked to Kagami Uchiha and he told me that it was the Root Shinobi was attacked Shisui. Don’t try to get out of this Danzo.” Hiruzen said.

This was the elder's meeting and they were quarrelling for some time now and the meeting was not going anywhere.

This lets Hiruzen to finally reveal Kagami’s existence to his fellow elders.

Danzo at this time although externally looked very calm internally was panicking.

He was not expecting that his root will again fail him and will not be able to kill that Uchiha boy.

“Are you telling me that you are willing to believe that Uchiha brat in this matter, Hiruzen” Danzo shouted?

He already knew that even if Hiruzen have proof, this proof is not that strong and he might be able to use it against him.

Although maybe that is what he was thinking in the end Sarutobi Hiruzen is also not a weak player in this game.

At the end of the meeting Hiruzen strips Danzo from his power and right to use the Root people.

Although he did not get the eyes which Danzo took from Shisui even removing root from Danzo was a big blow for Danzo.

This led Danzo to be completely irritated and return back to root headquarters.

While this meeting was happening, Kagami leave the Konoha Hospital as he himself did not suffer from any wounds. He only face Chakra exhaustion when he fought with the Root Shinobi. There is also the fact that his left eye was taken from him by that masked man and that is bigger wound than any injuries he could have suffered in that battle aside from Shisui’s death.

He had the power to fight the masked man but now his own power is on that man’s hand.

The first place Kagami visited after getting out of the hospital was the place where Shisui died.

He did not know why but he always thought that he might get some way to get to that masked man from this side.

He even open his Golden Mangekyo Sharingan and check but there was nothing.

“And even if there was something here. There is almost zero possibility that the Hokage’s Anbu has not already taken it” he thought and clenched his fist.

But unlike Anbu, he knows one thing which others don’t know.

“Shisui was not killed by those Anbu he was fighting. In fact, he was not killed from the front either. He was killed by that masked man and he did that from a distance.

There is no other way that Shisui has not sense that attack coming otherwise. There is no way that there is absolutely no sign of someone attacking Shisui here.

I remember Shisui’s head exploding and he falling forwards. That means that the attack came from behind him” Kagami muttered to himself and looked behind where Shisui was standing that time.

“I need to check this entire area. Only then I might be able to find any clue about that masked man” Kagami told to himself and started working.

This led him to search for hours and cover even kilometres.

He search every corner but there was no lead found. Even use his Sharingan to find any clue about that masked man but there was no clue.

What Kagami did not know was that Akira shoot Shisui at a range of almost 5 to 8 km. If only he have searched a little more and extended his range then he might have found a chakra usage there.

In the end, Kagami gave up and ended up going back home.

After coming home he directly falls asleep. He did not have more energy in him to go on.

But even in his sleeps, he was dreaming about the moment when Shisui die.

Maybe the only other person who is equally affected by Shisui’s death is Itachi Uchiha.

Itachi was there when Anbu found Shisui’s body and this completely shocked him. Later he was asked by the Hokage to come to his Office to tell him about this entire situation and he affirm to him that the village will find Shisui’s killer and give him appropriate punishment.

But Itachi did not believe it because the killer was none other than Danzo and Hiruzen Sarutobi will not punish him. He knew that.

The situation in the Uchiha clan was also tense. The entire clan was in uproar and they wanted to bring Shisui’s killer to Justice.

The clan head of the Uchiha clan, Fugaku Uchiha was summoned by the Hokage to tell him this news.

Usually it's very normal for Shinobi to die in missions but Shisui is a different case. Not only Shisui is a genius of the Uchiha clan just like Itachi but he is also a killer of duty, around the village.

This might not be inside the village but it's pretty similar to when the accident happened so close to the village.

Needless to say, the talks between the Uchiha clan and the village higher-ups were not peaceful.
