NARUTO GODLY TALENT CHAPTER 29 : THE WILL OF FIRE

Hiruzen was left speechless. He had no idea what to say.

At first, he thought that Akira is just another prodigy which Konoha produce. He has seen many prodigies in his life.

His sensei was a prodigy. His student was a prodigy. A student's student was a prodigy heck even his student was a prodigy but what the hell with his kid?

Akira did not know what is going on inside Hiruzen's head but he was getting bored. He wanted to go home already. He directly comes here from the waves.

"Akira Kun, will you be willing to develop these scrolls and ninja tools for the village If I give you an S-rank mission pay ?" Hiruzen ask wanting to know whether Akira could make the scroll and ninja tool work together and maybe most important mast produce them.

"hmm I am not sure most of my time I spend training so right now working on those things is pretty hard but I was also thinking of opening a store and making all these kinds of tools and other techniques and selling them to the shinobis," said Akira with a smile.

Hiruzen eyes widen. He remembers Akira's dream of being rich and opening a business from Kakashi.

He can't let this kind of talent go to waste as a simple businessman. If I can groom him as a Hokage candidate then I can finally see a competent leader in the village after Minato.

"Akira Kun what do you think about the will of fire," ask Hiruzen wanting to know their mindset of Akira.

"hmm, it's a good way to keep the village together and raise patriotism among the heart of the villager".

Akira's answer disappointed Hiruzen. The child might be the biggest prodigy Konoha has ever seen but he does not possess the will of the first Hokage.

"But that might be not what it was meant to be. I think the real will of fire has nothing to do with the village altogether," said Akira

This confused Hiruzen and was a little angry as well seeing how Akira telling how the will of fire does not run in the village.

"I think that the real will of fire is the will to protect what is important to one and the willingness to sacrifice for the future so that the young one can grow up.

I think it is about protecting the future and this will bring this village together not because it's an order or they learn this from childhood but because they too carry the same love in their heart and create bonds for which they are ready to sacrifice.

I wrote a poem about this when I was 6 years old and found out about the will of fire when you first mention it in the academy the first day." said Akira in thought full manner.

Hiruzen and the Anbu were once again paused.

The old Sarutobi first thought that the kid in front of him do not possess the fire inside him but what Akira just said completely stunned him.

Maybe this kid understands the will of fire better than most of the people he knows. Maybe this is what he was waiting for. Maybe this is the real will of fire the first Hokage thought about.

"Would you mind telling us the poem you made Akira Kun? This old man is very interested in it." Hiruzen said wanting to know what the child created. Does he understand the true will of fire?

"hmm Hokage sama, that was just a silly poem made by a 6-year-old child," Akira said in an embarrassed tone.

Seeing Akira's embarrassed look Hokage understood and replied.

"There is nothing to be embarrassed about Akira Kun. Consider this an old man's request."

"Hmm okay," Akira said again in an embarrassed tone.

" Where the tree leaves dance, one shall find flames. The fire's shadow will illuminate the village and once again tree leaves shall bud anew." said Akira with as much of a straight face he could muster."

By this time in the story, Hiruzen has not come out with this poem and thus Akira could reuse these lines which any worries.

Akira wanted to end this meeting soon and thus he just uses Hiruzen's own words used in the canon on him.

"I wrote to him after learning about the 4th Hokage's sacrifice. I believe that his will of fire was what give many of us their flames. Allow us to carry the same will and same fire to protect what is important to us". said Akira liked thinking about his parents from both of his life.

Hiruzen did not say anything. He did not have to. The anbu themselves was in awe at how 12-year-old kid understood the will of fire more than themselves.

Hiruzen on the other hand was seeing something else altogether. He saw a silhouette of yellow hair bringing a man with a sunny smile face. He saw a man with white hair looking directly at him like he was asking him something. He saw a man with long black hair and a big smile on his face.

For some reason, the god of hokage for the first time was shaking. Not because of weakness or because he was afraid but because he is happy.

Happy that the will of fire that his teacher and his success hold in their hearts and died for is not lost.

The next generation holds the same will of fire in their hearts. And this young man in front of him is someone who made him realize him.

He doesn't know why but he ended up asking this to Akira.

"Akira kun say what you think about being a Hokage" Hiruzen ask all the mouths of the anbu in the office were wide open.

Akira for this time genuinely did not understand the question and ended up saying "That would be cool but I don't think so I am Hokage material" said Akira.

He was at this point getting annoyed and just wanted to go home and rest.

"I see, well Akira Kun you should now go and rest. I could see how the mission tried you.

We will talk about your compensation for these seals and ninja tools you gave later alongside the S rank mission I was talking about." said Hiruzen and at this Akira was finally happy.

He doesn't care about compensation. There is nothing that he needs from Hokage right now. The only reason he gives all the seals and tools he gave to him is that he frankly doesn't care about all those techniques.

Akira is not going to use the seals or ninja tool himself anyways so it's better to give them away rather than to hold everything for himself.

"Ah sure Hokage Sama." Akira said and quickly leave the office before the old man ask for something more from him.

For everything he has on him, Akira believes that he solves the issue without losing a lot. The breathing technique is nothing special and he was going to teach this to his team anyways so it does not matter.

The scrolls and ninja tools are some that either required his input or will get invented in the future anyways so he does not lose anything.

Finally when Akira left Hiruzen turn around and look at the village and then at the faces in the Hokage monuments.

"maybe he could be what Minato would have been," he mutters in a low voice but the anbu in the office heard him and understood what the Hokage meant.
