Thought I'd start posting developer logs/updates. I'm new to this whole game dev thing, so still trying to figure out what all to add to these, but I'm excited to be able to share what I'm working on with ya. So...we'll figure it out as we go. =P
I've been tweaking the options in the main menu. The options screen will also be available while playing, so you can change settings mid-game. The background music and sound effects volume control sliders work, and the message speed gives options for slow, medium, and fast. You can also skip the text scrolling by pressing either the space bar, right arrow key, or left mouse button. The nice thing too, is the settings are saved in the game config file. This means that the game remembers your preferences when you close and re-open the game.
As you can also see in the screenshot, there's a "sex game mode." My goal for this game is to have a visual novel segment that gives a little story and some eye candy, then give the player a chance to enjoy a POV style sex game with the love interest, being able to control the player character's thrusting, while trying to resist cumming too early. If you can manage that, you get the best ending in more ways than one, huehuehue. ;D
