2020 Overview and Goals for 2021
Added 2021-01-02 18:37:57 +0000 UTCIt has only been a half a year since I’ve gotten into 3D Animations, but I thought I might as well make one of these overview posts :3.
Goals that I’ve achieved this year (2020)
- Configured and founded the “best but looking to improve” settings for an optimal, but also pleasing visual “Bodily Fluid Simulation”. That has the benefits of sticking to objects, costing low memory, render time, and being able to be used in Blender itself. (My proudest goal ^^)
- Gotten Pretty Good at Importing/Fixing SFM Models to Blender. To the point where I can Import somewhat reliably now.
- Implemented small details/props inspired from a collection of animators.
Goals that I would like to achieve in 2021
- Make at least 2 Animations a month, with the intention to learn and try something new.
- Learn how to properly weight paint models. To better fix Imported models into Blender
- Use more of the “Liquid Hangs” strings in animations
- Post extra stuff on Twitter
- Maybe work with more sound design?
My ultimate overall goal is currently vague, but I know I want to make very pleasing looking animations, in terms of art and quality focus -w-.
