Mr. Creep

Since so many people say that Mr. Mime is creepy and I strongly disagree, frankly that Gerbert puppet from that Christian show Brutalmoose sometimes does videos about is creepier than Mr. Mime, I decided to design an ACTUALLY creepy Mr. Mime as a way of taking a shot at a regional variant cuz I so frankly hate Galarian Mr. Mime so much, killing two Pidgeys with one Geodude.

My idea here is that at some point this nonspecific region had its own Mr. Mime variant that wasn't much different from the original. It was a very popular one in that region, being the subject of old folk art, children would be instructed to seek one out if they were ever lost due to their protective nature, but then everything changed when the ease of access to dolls of them made them a popular choice for a coven of Hex Maniacs to make voodoo dolls out of, binding human souls to them to torture them until they died, causing the souls to permanently inhabit the dolls as bodies so the suffering would never have to end, rendering them insane. When the Hex Maniacs had their fun they were released into the wild where they would seek revenge on any humans they come across. Over multiple generations, the act of protecting themselves lead the humans to accidentally hunt their region's actual Mr. Mimes to extinction, not being able to tell the difference right away and too terrified of the fake ones to care, leaving the much more cunning and difficult to kill Mr. Creeps to take their place in the Pokedex
