Also I primarily drew this as an excuse to type here that I did not get the snail thing from Spongebob like I've been accused of even though I used the snail plasma as the context for the TF a few times, that was because I knew people were gonna be thinking of it anyway like how not all blueberry TFs use the Wonka gum yet it's still the most iconic trigger for that TF, in reality the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command episode The Crawling Flesh had waaaaaaay more of an effect on me as far as TFs involving eyestalks go. I had that episode recorded on a VHS tape, watched it over and over again, it was my favorite episode of the whole show and couldn't tell you why even if I wanted to. A lot of times when this kind of art makes its way outside its intended audience (read: when normies find it) there seems to be this lingering mystery of just what happens in somebody's life to end up like that.
