After so much shit has happened, I've learned to do this too and it really makes life so much better. I no longer fear or get upset as much as I used to and just accept things as they are. And as you mentioned before in another video, how even the bad stuff has a purpose, I totally believe in that too, because I'm starting to understand and see evidence of why some of the bad had to happen in order for me to get to where I am now and how it actually helps and benefits other people too. Really, I feel like life is becoming so much more amazing than I ever thought it could be by just letting go and surrendering. And when I hear you say this stuff it makes me happy that you're on the same wavelength. :) Btw, sorry, I know this is going to be a bit long, but I just have to say you're really inspiring and full of wisdom, Pat. I just watched your vid from a few months ago about your newfound passion for spirituality the other night and really loved everything you had to say there. I've always been really into spiritual and meditation stuff and have always believed in God for as long as I can remember, mostly from my mom (which btw, she also loves and watches your videos, that's actually how I discovered you, lol). Also, I watched your Tweaked ASMR video the other night as well and totally agree with what you said about weed. I have the same issue, and I actually managed to quit for a little over a year but then idiotically decided to start it back up again earlier this year. And now after watching your vid the other night you've inspired me to want to quit again, so I'm now currently going on 3 days without it and already feeling so much better and clearheaded. I really just can't handle how stupid I get and I often get really intense scary thoughts as well while I'm on it, and it gets exhausting having to fight these thoughts and feelings or even most of what I believe are just lies. Really, the craziness almost outweighs the fun of it at times, and I just don't have time for that. I have important stuff I want to do. ๐ Anyway, I really enjoyed this video, Pat. These new mics sound pretty incredible, and I like how it sounds both up close and far away. I'm happy you're looking forward to having fun with them. :) Also, I really love this new setup with the lighting and background (awesome posters, btw), and that rhythm tapping and rubbing you did on the cookie around 24 mins was so good. I'd really love some more of that. Rhythmic stuff just gets me so relaxed. But I'm also a big fan of fast and chaotic. :)
