Oh and they actually couldn't escape. To escape they either need the wands or to have Rin and Luvia themselves do it. And since they were all underground...yeah. It was fight or die

2024-07-29 11:57:30 +0000 UTCYeah, this is absolutely the best episode so far. This is what hooked me into the series. Becoming a Heroic Spirit just seems like such a cool concept. Love that you recognized all of the moves used too. But yeah, Illya is super OP because just like in FSN, she is still a Grail Vessel. Only here she doesn't know it. But it means she has access to a crapload of mana. When I first saw this episode, I was completely blown away. Along with the fight just being epic in general, it had good tension. Because without that power unlocking, they were dead 100%. I love showing people that fight and then telling them that it's from a magical girl show. 😂
