Yeah, Charlie was right, redemption is possible; which is why Emily(the smiling angel) was so happy to see him there and Sera(the one who said that it was impossible) was shocked. Apparently Lute is going to force Lilith to go to Hell to make Charlie give up on her redemption plan, and yeah the seven years Lilith has been gone with no contact to anyone she's been lounging in Heaven. Up til about episode 5 we thought that Charlie had daddy issues, she might actually have mommy issues. There's a spinoff series that takes place in the same universe called Helluva Boss, which is up to Season 2 now. It doesn't involve any of these characters though and the tone is a bit different but it's still a really good show. Once either of the other two series I requested are done, can I donate for it?
