Bright the Hawk's Flight

Bright the hawk's flight,
On the empty sky.
I've been going through my favorite books lately, the Earthsea saga, and these beautiful words have been bouncing non-stop in my head for the past week, conjuring up this image from deep within.
EDIT: re-uploaded to compensate for me painting at night when I'm not used to, so everything seemed too dark this morning!
