Digital Damsel - Chapter 15, pt. 1
Added 2020-12-05 09:28:52 +0000 UTCDiane DeSantis, trapped as a non-player character in the virtual reality game Fantasie Unchained!, apparently now served two mistresses. One was Reiko, a ninja player character who had adopted Diane as a sort of pet. The other was a NPC, the ghost of the infamous Queen Ysabeau – who had taken up residence in Diane’s head. So far, Reiko was unaware of Ysabeau’s presence as a spectral passenger inside Diane’s skull; she wasn’t sure how the kunoichi would react if she found out.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Diane had been dragged along on a quest to obtain Queen Ysabeau’s skull, which happened to be in the possession of a young gorgon. Reiko had planned to ambush the gorgon and kill her, but Diane, still an attorney at heart, decided to seek a less bloodthirsty resolution to the conflict. Maybe, if she played her cards right, she could convince the gorgon to hand over the skull in exchange for something else.
Unfortunately, the ‘something else’ turned out to be a pretty Dark Elf that the gorgon wanted to add to her collection of statues…
(At long last, here is the first part of Digital Damsel, Chapter 15! I sincerely apologize for the long wait. It has been a rough year. Anyway, stay tuned for the story poll to follow soon!)

Wow, thanks for pointing that out! I just uploaded it. I guess nobody noticed before because the way I wrote it, the story seems to flow seamlessly from page 1 to page 3.
