As the adventurers battled Fanglord and his allies, Diane succumbed to her impulse to touch the Nyx amulet. It transported her back to the ancient chapel that the Dancing Duchess once was, where she encountered the Dark Goddess herself!

It would seem that the infidels in question are the three adventurers, which by extension means that the vampire and his friends are followers of Nyx. Not only did Diane drag the adventurers into this fight, but now Nyx expects her to side with Fanglord against them!

In her new form, Diane is driven to fight by a powerful bloodlust – quite literally! As she will soon discover, resisting her new body’s instincts may prove to be challenging. For the moment, she has been dumped into the heat of battle with no experience controlling her new form’s impulses.
