Deer History - Part 2

King

The deer had a lot of kings, but one of the most important was the one who thought the deer should share their kingdom with the other dwellers of the forest, just like they do with their knowledge. The king regularly invited groups of different cultures to his court, based on the knowledge served by the academy, and asked them to show him one of their traditions. He accepted a lot of different folks in his kingdom, but there was one culture he grew more fond of than the others. He was the first king whose court had more foxes than deer.

Garden

The deer always tended their gardens with good care, as they used them to relax after a long day of duties, but the gardens of the golden age were something different. Thanks to one of their older kings, the gardens were filled with many different forest folks taking their part of the gardening duties and helping the visitors with their relaxation. There were a lot of new activites to enjoy in the gardens those days, and thanks to that there were a lot more visitors than before.

Research

The deer of the academy searched for new knowledge everywhere, eventually leading to their most significant discovery. The mysterious crystals of the forest were always one of the top interests of the academy. For some reason, these crystals were important and well-respected in the traditions of every lizard tribes of the forest, but the knowledge about their real purpose has lost a long time ago. For a few chunks of these crystals in exchange, the lizard folks agreed to help out with the research to uncover their mysteries.

The academy survived the fall of the kingdom and still stands in the current days to train the scholars of the world. Whatever was discovered back then is now treated as forbidden knowledge, kept safe by the magisters of the academy.
