Desert - Prince's Journey - Part 2

The prince's journey continues.

Scene 5

The desert is just as cruel as they were warned. Crossing the endless dunes while being under the scorching sun is something they didn't properly prepared for, but it seems like they passed the hardest part of the journey and the river is already in sight. It would be the best to resupply in the nearby settlement while asking around for transportation. Finding a ship to the city would be the best scenario. The prince also announced his need for rest, so they must find a place for him to recover his strength.

Scene 6

Seems like the locals are very friendly and provided the prince the relaxation he looked for. They even offered some of their supplies for his recovery and for the rest of the journey. Lions are not a common sight around here, so there are a lot of other folks gathered to meet the prince. According to them it's not the common route from the lions' land to the city. Meanwhile, the huntress is asking around for means of transportation along the river.

Scene 7

The huntress found folks who may know something about travelling along the river. The crocodiles guarding the waters around here, so they know all about the ships coming from the city. They gladly shared the information with the huntress, like their ancestors would do, and pointed her toward the nearest port. There are several ships come and go from many different places, but the easy way to find a ship to the city is looking for the tesem, as those dogs never settled anywhere outside the city.

Scene 8

The crocodiles were right and these dogs are really from the city, but the prince's sudden appearance caused a little confusion among them. Most of them would gladly help out with the travel, but their leader is still unsure. Their orders say nothing about ferrying passangers especially envoys from the lions' land so far away from the common route. After thinking it through he finally let the self-proclaimed royal party on the ship. Prince or not, they clearly improved the morale of the hands. This ship can only go as far as the outskirts of the city, but it's still way more than what they expected.
