Returning to the Fox Pass, in the northern mountains. ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/97535565 )
It's very important to choose your fox guide carefully. They all know the path, and a lot of them would show the fastest way for a quick reward, but there are mischievous ones, who prefer to take the longest route possible over the pass. Travellers who are up for some sightseeing might want to choose a fox like that. This long route can take a whole day, but the foxes usually make a detour to their den, and let the lucky ones spend the night there.
There are times when the travellers approached by more foxes at once and they can't decide which one to choose. The commotion usually attracts more of them, making the choice even harder. In a situation like this, choosing the perfect fox might take more time than the whole route, but it's one of the reasons the travellers prefer the Fox Pass out of the many paths over the mountain.
