Updates for the Future (PLEASE READ)

I was gonna wait a little longer before sharing this news but I've seen a few newcomers who decided to join so I figured maybe it would be better to talk about it now before we get too deep into things for the following month. 

There's gonna be a few changes around here on this Patreon page, but its mostly just to open up my online identity as an NSFW artist to make more general NSFW content and not just be limited to Apatite and other SU inspired gem stuff, cus now that SU has officially ended I have a feeling that people would slowly lose interest over time the longer the show remains off the air, so this is more preparing for myself in a way. 

*FIRST OFF: The story of Apatite and the Pebble Rebels has (unofficially) come to an end.

Thanks to everyone who stuck along for the journey since 2016, but I found that it has become a bit more difficult to keep the story going on into the future with the lack of time and budget as it is now. The blog started with literally no budget (it was gonna be just for fun with friends but I ended up being the only one who made something out of it) but over time I found a way to use that to solidify my place as an NSFW artist and I feel like it's something I want to excel at, and also keep making more money with. Updating the blog has been lots of fun, and definitely inspired me to go in all sorts of directions that I wished to see be made some day, but as life has continued it has become a bit difficult to find the time and support to keep the story going. I say unofficially because I still want to make some concept drawings for what I wanted to have happen in the story, but I no longer will have the time or funds to update the blog on a regular basis, so I'll just save certain details for any future doodles I make for the story.

*SECOND: I'm going to re-brand myself and go by a different name on all my NSFW social media accounts

When I started the Apatite blog I ran it in character, as if Apatite herself was the one running it and making the posts, so I was very adamant about staying in character just to make it feel more real in a way. As time went on and I started making more lewd art, it got a little weird having to pretend to be a tiny blue chick with followers and people I never met before, and I sometimes come to the realization that people would know me as @Apatite_Blewbs on most sites but its not really a name that I identify with (I was mostly playing a character, but I don't feel like its ME per say) so I feel like a brand new name and identity would be really beneficial for the future. 

*THIRD: I really like sushi and therefore I will eventually rename myself to be known as SUSHIKI 

I spent WEEKS thinking of a good name whenever I'm out driving on the freeways during my work hours, but now that I finally found a name that sounds good and rolls off the tongue I can probably just work everything around that so it fits the new re-branding style. 

*FOURTH: I'm gonna pause all your pledges for July as I spend the month renaming accounts and reworking the tier levels

Patreon is gonna get the most amount of changes around here, but we'll be seeing some different names and features on Instagram, Newgrounds, Twitter, and Ko-Fi (I'll only use it for people who want quick links to pay me for commissions) and I don't see myself returning to Tumblr any time soon since they banned NSFW content for the most part and I hardly ever update my other blogs anymore, so might as well move a majority of the stuff to Twitter where I'm most active anyway. But yeah I'll be spending the whole month renaming all social media sites and figuring out proper tier prices for those of you who want to continue supporting me in the future. Some tier levels will be removed since only a select few are used, and the mainly used tiers will be updated in order to cover the cost of time needed to complete certain pieces of art each month, cus sometimes I look em over and realize how much I'm low-balling myself with certain prices and why I end up more stressed than I anticipate. I'm sure I'll also lose a bit of support through this, but for those of you who decide to stick around and support me anyway, I'll be sure to give you exactly what you're paying for! 

*FIFTH: I'll also spend July preparing to move out of the house to live with my girlfriend! 

This doesn't concern you guys very much, but another reason why I'm pausing pledges next month is cus I fear I wont have much time to get art done, and I don't wanna cram all my shit at the last minute while I'm preparing to move out, so I'll hold off on Patreon requests until August and also use the time to rename all the socials and pretty much prepare for a grand reopening soon.  I don't wanna stop doing art though, so I'll open up maybe 5 commission slots to cover the amount of money I won't be making from Patreon for the next month (given what my updated prices are, maybe 5 slots should be ok for the time being). I'll also fix up another batch of adoptables to sell soon to make some extra money cus eventually I'll be paying for a car as well, and I wanna have as much financial prep as possible for that. 

*SIXTH: When I return with a new name, I'll be posting some NSFW uncensored for 2 months 

I know what some of you are thinking ... this may be a bit of a risky move on my part. I know this may also be a bit of a problem for those of you who pledge for the exclusive benefit of seeing stuff uncensored, but honestly if I was doing well enough financially then I would post everything uncensored. My goal is to gain more supporters and I've noticed that sometimes my follower count increases the more I post uncensored content that gets shared around more than censored stuff, and more followers increases the likelihood of supporters. I want to see how much my stuff will get shared around if I post uncensored stuff for a good 2 months and see if that brings in more supporters or not. If all goes well, then I'll refrain from censoring my stuff ever again. If not, I'll go back to keeping it all on Patreon for the lovelies. If any of you decide not to support anymore because of that, I totally understand. 

*SEVENTH: Apatite's still gonna have her bday celebration on July 18th, mark your calendars! 

I'll probably figure something out to celebrate for her (it's not my bday, just the day she was officially created). I'll also make time for more monthly pinups and NSFW fan art pieces that we normally do, I just wont have you guys pledge in order to participate cus I know y'all are good for that. So you'll still see a bit of content here and there, but it'll be a while before things go back to normal. 

If anyone has any questions, feel free to let me know. I wanna know what works best for all of you and how I can still do my best to draw what I enjoy while also making content you wanna support.
