Self Indulgent Amaru AU

Sometimes when I think about the future of my art and my nsfw content, I feel mysel moving a little more towards dragon girls and a little further from gems and SU content, and then I like to think about turning some of my own characters into designs for other similar sorts of things, so eventually my brain came up with this.

Honestly with Apatite and Charoite I always wanted them to get together and become a cute lesbian couple, but with the story the way it is I may not reach that point for quite some time, and it gets hard to experiment with anything else, but at least with this AU I can sorta get back to what I originally wanted to see; a tiny flirty chick who has a huge crush on a big strong chick who gets easily flustered (but still would not be opposed to dating said cutie)

Just so you know ... I did try to make them purple and blue ... for some reason I just wasn't feeling it. I couldn't see a tough barbarian sporting soft purple tones in battle, and none of the blue tones I picked would work for this Amaru design, but once I thought about them having some sort of color-based bond then it kinda made sense to have them just be red together. Idk if I'll make a story out of this, but it would sure make for some fun art in the future ;)

If I ever stop doing the Peb Rebs story, I'll probably play with these cuties together. Maybe I'll call them Cavalon and Aurora for now
