Forgotten Before Zune - Microsoft Portable Media Center
Added 2023-03-03 15:34:36 +0000 UTCSorry for no update last week but this project just kept going on and on, just when I thought I had the next thing sorted I encountered another issue. Now I know what I'm dealing with, it isn't surprising, but none of this one went how I expected.
When I was working on the Windows XP Media Center video I found out about this product segment from Microsoft I had never heard of before, Portable Media Centers. Reading about them, they were based on Windows Mobile which I love, had integration with Windows XP Media Center which I adore, and had video features before the iPod. On paper it sounded amazing, why hadn't I heard of it before? So I set out to get one, and now that I've used it I can see why it is lost to time.
