Absolutely loved rewatching these with you! Lord of the Rings is by far my favorite movie series - nothing else brings quite the variety of strong emotions that LotR always does! Fellowship is probably my favorite, but all three are stellar. I first watched the theatrical versions on VHS when I was about 13, probably around a year after Return of the King's release. I'm almost 35 now, and my love for these films just keeps growing! I admit it'd been a LONG time since I'd watched the extended versions of the 2nd and 3rd films (though I do own them). There's SO much I'd forgotten that isn't included in the theatrical releases. This definitely makes me want to finally read the books! I've read Hobbit and Fellowship, but I think I only got about 1/3 or halfway through Two Towers in my early teen years before my brain said "nope". 😂

I hope that most people watching the reactions know the movie back to front, and only need the footage as a refresher to know what is going on as I spout my waffle. I hope you understand.

2025-12-18 23:20:52 +0000 UTCI'm glad for the uploads to streamable for your films Veggie, I rewatched the first Fantastic Beasts last night and am going through the two Deathly Hallows Potter films tonight. My only slight issue is the screen size of the film seems a bit small for me, but it works great otherwise, especially when I want to fastforward through the Denethor stuff which drags the film, and can't be easily done when synching. Cheers for taking the time to redo these for us, its appreciated!
