I still to this day love this one. The dynamic between Tina, Newt, Jacob, Queenie and Tina works so perfectly.
Tina is such a great character, as well as Newt, Jacob, Queenie and Tina.
And it perfectly has me wearing a Christmas hat in, so if you haven't see this reaction before, you can pretend it is new! XD

I prefer Queeny tbh. There is a vulnerability there with her, like with Marilyn Monroe (who seems to share similarities to the character in looks too), that you just want to see them be happy, and help them become that. Never been much of an Eddie Redmayne lover, so held off on this film for too long. However, the character of Newt is a warm and sensitive soul, and clearly a boss at the old magic; so I warmed to him immediately. This film was much better than I thought it was going to be and got the balance just right. Think I'll rewatch this with you over the Xmas period Veggie! You also mention about seeing The Batman here, I'd recommend that for sure, its a very different take on the Dark Knight and the characters, but no less for it. Its also filmed all over Blighty so you may recognise some British cities, making a great substitution for Gotham. It also leads into The Penguin series with Colin Farrell here coincidentally, who is amazing in it, and won Emmy's - its that good.

It could have been in the edit I started to appreciate Tina more, which involves watching the movie at least 3 times more at a very slow pace. 😆

XD It's funny how our minds can "recognise" actors that we've not really seen before. I was watching Columbo today and a lady from Babylon 5 (which I've never seen) appeared that both me and my mother recognised, and yet the most famous thing I knew her from was Skyrim (Aela the Huntress' voice) and mum had no idea... I think maybe she just looked reminiscent of Laura Palmer to me XD I wonder what your brain thought you knew Tina from! Love to you and Woozle , hope you have a nice weekend!
