I WANT YOUR INPUT - Two New Videos

Video One: "Watch This If You're Getting Cancelled"

Video Two: "Why You Shouldn't Be Afraid of A Trump Presidency"

Do you have friends that are mad at you or friends that are losing their minds right now? Let me know! If there's anything I can address or talk about, I'm here :)

Comments

i have numerous FB friends that said, "if you voted for trump, block me and dont talk to me"

Jennifer Michael

Many many friends who are freaking out about Trump and his cabinet picks.

Kimberly Kirkbride

I lost all my liberal friends in 2020 they were really really mean, and got kicked off of every social platform for talking about covid.

Autumn McGrath-Shook

Hi Amir video 2 please! My friends aren't mad at me because they don't know. Most of my friends are very liberal thinking, I've started questioning my opinions and morals over the past year after one of my friends decided they wanted to end our 10+ year friendship, ghost me after ending the summer very pleasantly and happily, then tell our mutual friend it was because she wanted to "limit all the white people in her life". My other friends haven't gone as far to do that to the white people in their life but I've decided I won't ever tell them that I voted for Trump and stopped thinking woke for a while because I'm afraid I'll lose the friendships I so cherish because of politics.

Lilly Huggard

Video 2 please!

Tyler Armstrong

I'm personally more interested in the 1st option, but feel like the 2nd should be addressed first with the Media(once again) Fear Mongering and Doom Saying

Cullen Starry

We need both but maybe #2 first.

Calista

The cancelling video piqued my interest. 🙌

ame.searching

This would be a great commentary/reaction video. The teacher is not appropriate (at least in my district) and this young man might be one of your subscribers.

I have not ever been cancelled because I am throttled so badly barely anyone ever sees me to consider cancelling me. If you do #1 look at the wider range of censorship both by people and by platforms. I have a friend who is leaving the country over the election. She was in Ecquador for the entire first Trump presidency. I would love to get people who are in total freak out more to watch #2 but I fear that the ones that need it most are also most likely to ignore it in favor of their biases.

Mark F. Crist

Agreed! This (and any other accusations about him acting a certain way) always gets thrown out there when bringing up all the good he’s done

Maria

I'd love if you'd debunk or speak on the rape and pedophile accusations against Trump. I'd love to get real, honest info on it

That_Purple_Shadow

Hey Amir, (Latina and Lesbian here, not that it should matter lol). Recently two of my friends told me that the rest of the group is pissed at me and doesn’t wanna talk to me for simply voicing my opinions in the groupchat after the election results on the 6th. (we’ve all been friends since middle school). The good thing is that the two friends who told me all this eventually understood what I was saying and even agreed with most of my points despite both of them voting for Kamala, so that was lovely to see. I consider myself to be central/independent and dont like trump as a person at all, yet i voted for him for various reasons. your channel helped me broaden my perspective, and a fun fact is that my IMMIGRANT MEXICAN father was the one to recommend your channel to me and told me himself that he would vote for trump if he could. I am unapologetic in my views and unapologetic for being a critical thinker who wont vote for someone just because theyre a woc. I vote for who I so please. I am proud of myself for voting for the first time at 19. so yeah, thanks amir :)

K.O

Amir: You make a lot of sense, and I appreciate your taking a stand against the "liberal" establishment. I am a gay senior in SF and I am withholding from most of my friends and acquaintances that I voted for Trump. Further, I am a member of a therapy group for older gay men, and this week's session on Thursday was like a funeral. "End of democracy," "LGBTQ rights are at stake," you know the drill. This somber affair went on for over an hour. I remained reticent and listened to a lot of nonsense without saying a word. I think that if I had let them know that I voted for Trump, I would have been kicked out of the group. I told a good friend that I was thinking of being more forthright about my vote for Trump, and he told me that I should be ready to lose most of my friends. I'm not there, yet. I want to thank the American voters who had the courage writ large to support and protect individual freedoms. I offer my thanks to you too, Amir, for your wonderful videos.

Jack

#2 considering some of my gay friends are super afraid right now and not wanting to listen to me. A requested third video/deep dive would be about Scott Presler and the Amish in Pennsylvania.

Melanie and Drew Phoenix

As for if I have any friends freaking out, I have one black ex saying "Ill still fight for my family and friends you filthy monsters, you should all die" two mutuals saying "Hes protected from the witches they keep trying to kill him and it's not working" and "If someone doesn't go blow up the white house, I will." I had one new friend blame all men for the election on her story in tears, saying she now believes they are evil until proven otherwise and she'll never let them 'touch her again' and 'If you voted Trump block me'. I'm a woman so I told her how unsafe and scared I felt under Biden + Kamala and that I'm sad to see her taking this out on men, that I won't perpetuate the dark energy of blocking her because we are both very spiritual, and that I hope she finds peace, and if she ever needs a friend I'm still here. I never heard back from her and I'm scared to check if she blocked me. But most dissapointing of all, my best friend of nearly 12 years, who I thought woke up from the brainwashing when she became detrans, would barely speak to me despite not knowing who I voted for, and was acting like this was world shattering in the most subtle way I've seen. She was so miserable and scared that she calmly said she couldn't be on her phone and for the first time in our friendship she was going on a 'hiatus'. She wouldn't even say exactly what shes upset about and I’m scared to ask but at the same time I’m mad shes acting like this is worth her being depressed and scared over. We are all safe and so much better now. I wish we could wake them up from the brainwashing so theyd stop suffering and making me worried theyre going to ruin this wonderful thing.

Lelci

Amir!! Something I'd love to see that I haven't seen anyone do yet is a "Liberals realizing they were wrong" video compilation. Accepting the election, acknowledging maybe they don't know everything if the whole country clapped back, getting properly educated on how bad the left is, or how good Trump actually is. It would be SUCH a breath of fresh air over all of the screaming and misery.

Lelci

I'd love to see both, but if I had to choose one I'd like to see first, I'd say "Watch This if You're Getting Cancelled".

Jerbl Muffin

I am all about both but I think the second one would be very helpful. My 15 year old is coming home from school saying everyone is crying, afraid all the time, freaking out. We talk about it a lot but I think it would be helpful to hear from someone else, and maybe even give him some talking points when people are losing their minds. And I hate to even go there but it would be valuable to hear that people who are not white and straight feel this way too. I should add a lot of the freak out is from his gay and trans friends. I told him maybe the trans kids will have medical intervention put on hold and why I think that's good...but nobody cares if they are gay or even socially trans...especially here in CA.

Heather Freeling

Having to pretend to be upset with my left friends has been tiring. I'm like, just look at the stock market! I'm getting emails about rates dropping! I might be able to buy a house this year! I don't like Trump and don't agree on a lot of things with him, but there's proof he has made positive changes that are affecting me.

Xantera

Precisely! We’re all gonna be just fine. If each of us always got what we wanted, then it wouldn’t be a democracy anymore lol

Sora Hearts

Let me be somewhat helpful lol The on President Trump first 😉

Kimberly Pomyk

Why choose? I love both and look forward to them with anticipation! 🥰

Kimberly Pomyk

Same! "Devastated" is the word I keep hearing from family and friends. It's like a death to them which is sad. If Trump had lost I would be disappointed but certainly not devastated. This process happens every four years... you win some, you lose some.

LexyMay

Amir I LOVE the content on your channel and have been telling friends to watch and they have been! I’m so glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work and continue being the person you are, which I’m sure you will❤️ I have several people that I’ve had as friends for 20+ years that I have lost because they felt if I voted for Trump that we have obvious differences that have to do with moral values. They posted comments as such on FB. So I have unfriended them. Obviously we were never friends during two decades we’ve known each other so I wish them the best!

Pam Cunningham

Thank you for doing both. You are appreciated!

Carrie

Video One please!

Alissa

Obviously both, but if I had to pick one, the second video!

Sara

Both but I’m nearly 50 & “got canceled “ for not jumping on the Kamala bandwagon.

Glamma77

Yeah definitely am down for both! Also I am too nervous to post on any social media that I voted for Trump even though I don't think my views have really changed. I have had a few people who know say they were sad that I voted that way. But it is what it is. I have no negative feelings towards those who voted Kamala, I understand why they did.

Jurnee Tworek

Video #2! He had 4 years to do what my far left friends are so afraid of what he is going to do… I’ve even seen postings for unaliving hotline. I can not understand the fear that is out there!

Don Cash

Thank you!

Amy McCallum

Ultimately both 😆🫶🏻

Heather

#2 I have liberal friends legit believing there’ll be concentration camps. I can’t take them remotely serious but they’re a mess after the election. I don’t understand they’re not understanding this wasn’t some MAGA conspiracy she was a terrible candidate and people have hit their wall with the stupid threats regarding democracy, vitriol, economy and wars. They also believe that Gaza is genocide not an aggressive response to a terrorist attack that Hamas is using the people as human shields making them collateral damage. They are extremely self righteous in their voting for Kamala. Definitely suffering from woke white savior complex. Meanwhile the rest of us are like joy isn’t buying groceries. Joy doesn’t fill gas tanks. Their brand of joy is attacking anyone that doesn’t think exactly like them thought for thought and be loud and ugly about it telling others they’re ignorant evil. I’m seeing similar like you friendships that’ll be lost to this because I have independent thoughts and opinions.

Amy McCallum

Dope, I'm going to do both videos. Video one is super easy to put together, Video 2 requires a lot more work, deep dive and context so I'll try and get that out next week.

Amir Odom

I vote #2. My oldest brother sent a novel of a text to our family group chat yesterday with the end line being “F*ck all the people who voted for and empowered him. This election proved beyond a doubt that the majority of our citizens are either willfully ignorant, easily manipulated, or f*cking monsters.” I am afraid to see him over the holidays and have him discuss politics because he seems so infuriated by this that I’m not sure I could have a productive discussion.

Kala Dunnigan

I think these are both very important. But 2 for sure as, People are genuinely scared because of all the rhetoric that was created against Trump have people genuinely in fear for themselves. I know I was worried for you and everyone alike (independent journalist) had the Dems won with all they were pushing about making the 1st amendment the way they wanted.

Dean Anderson

I agree with Justin, I vote for both! I do think the Trump one is a biggie, people are so scared and losing their minds. It's troubling, I hate to see all that suffering and fear that is being fueled by the MSM.

KellyG

Definitely think #2 is needed with all the fear mongering going on. An example, the HBCU Knoxville college fire. Folks are trying to tie that to after Trump became president, when the fire actually occurred on Monday, before we knew he would be president. Make it make sense. The fear mongering definitely needs to be addressed because they are going to use this tatic a LOT until Inauguration Day.

LexyMay

Vid two. The far hateful left has made the Vulnerable folks fearful of Trump. They can’t think for themselves. the accusations the dems have of us , they’re guilty of.

Ric-n-Dallas

Yes so many of my friends and people I know! Both videos seem great but definitely think video 2 would be best right now and might bring more people some relief when we share it :)

Alex Vulcu

I wish I could link the photo I had taken of this person's story to share it since it would provide some good talking points

Kyle Thompson

Video 2 for me fits more. I wish that someone had a video of this already so I could share it with some people on my Instagram as they think the world will end soon

Kyle Thompson

I like both video ideas, another topic for you maybe … how about getting involved in local government without making it your whole personality, like I think my town needs some bike lanes on the roads. I’m sick of not being able to talk to people. I’m not a big social media person but these posts with this attitude that we can’t agree to disagree we can’t be friends because you’re taking away my rights or you hate minorities or are homophobic. This division over politics isn’t healthy. Also I’m sick of the two party system why don’t we have more choices why can’t third party candidates get any traction. I did vote third party the last two elections but I just couldn’t stand to this time around. Thanks Amir for this place to share/rant.

Morgan

Amir can you let me know what your discord group is titled? I have such issues signing into discord and the link takes me to sign on and says my details are incorrect when I know they're right and I have it up in a seperate window. So I think I'm going to have to search for your server instead to join :)

Ashley Moore

I would obviously watch both, but if I'm voting for one it would be option two

Ashley Moore

Can I vote both?!

justin bush

Geez, as a pansexual woman, I feel better with Trump as my president. I don't want any of whatever was coming down the pipeline. I don't attend pride parades, and don't speak about my preference to anyone except my husband, in the closet you could say, but I just don't want to be lumped into the madness, it's back to oppression in it's own sense. There's a dire need for people to find their security and wholeness in something that isn't race or sexual preference. You could ask her if she wants to help the suffering LGBTQ people and use her platform to help battle the misinformation or continue to encourage and enable them... She's only adding to the problem if she's fear mongering, if she wants to help, she should be willing to sit down and listen to the actual facts before posting on social media. Listen to her on what she's really concerned about, because she may not even be able to pinpoint what's scaring her. You could send her videos you've found explaining how he's not out to get the LGBTQ community or addressing her particular fears. Unfortunately, she may not be open to the wake up call and there's nothing you can do to convince her, but the fact you want to help is wonderful <3

Amber

I'd love to watch both. My neighbor has been hateful towards me (just based off assumption because I didn't put a Harris sign in my yard like others on my street) and yesterday posted on FB " Hey Black Women, In a world that fucking hates us, please know I love you" . She's also previously noted that if you voted for Trump, there's no way you could love her or her family (I don't think she knows her own husband voted Trump the last two elections, but you can see it right on the voter website). Everything she says now seems to be related to race, and has zero tolerance to anyone who doesn't think like her. Honestly, I feel bad that her black woman power is the only thing she seems to identify with, she has so many more redeeming qualities as a person.

Amber

Also, another talking point that they use is “I don’t understand why Latinos voted for Trump, he’s just going to deport all of them.“ As a Hispanic person, it is very ignorant and racist for someone to say that suggesting that all of us are not citizens. A good majority of us who voted were born here. To say something like that is so ignorant I can’t even put it into words.

Julie Lavoie

As if he did all of that 4-8 years ago 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️

Ashleigh Hatcher

This is why I stopped talking politics with my Democrat family. My mom, brother & I have a family group chat. They know I voted but are just assuming I voted for Harris because they did. I followed that trend in past elections. Not this time. My brother sent a text yesterday saying he needs to update his passport now (after the election results). I didn’t respond. I was just thinking, “👋🏾”.

Ashleigh Hatcher

Number 2 for sure

Alison Johnson

Can you simply tell her that he was president from 2016-2020 and we were all just fine? This basically can end most arguments. And if they want to talk about his character, Blaire White said it best when she basically said, she’s not voting for a best friend. No one is perfect. We’re not voting for the PERFECT president but the PREFERRED one 🇺🇸💯

Ashleigh Hatcher

I would like to see both of them. I was told yesterday that I wasn’t respected any more. And the argument that gay people are petrified is one I don’t get. I don’t remember Trump saying anything about that. I just joined your Patreon and am sure glad I did. I look forward to your videos.

Linda Markarian

Vídeo 2 in my opinion is more important right now. If someone shuts me out because I voted for Trump, it wasn’t meant to be anyway. We are all adults and this is our actual lives, not middle school drama.

Ashleigh Hatcher

I just want a 2024 meltdowns compilation reaction.. Been waiting 8 years for this sequel

Ace

I agree, and while honestly, I did feel a slight amount of satisfaction seeing it, I also started to feel bad for them. Most of these ppl are so brainwashed that they truly belive this is the worst thing possible. While you can't stop the media from doing this without stepping on the 1st ammendment that we fight so hard for, we can as a people, show them that we are tired of it and that we are done falling for it. I believe that day is coming.

Travis Edwards

Both of those videos sound really useful to people right now. Thank you for all you did to help bring about this result and for all you continue to do to address the insanity from the far left. I quietly voted for Trump but you did so much more and my family and I are truly, truly grateful to people like you.

Jen Greathouse

I like both video ideas would love to watch both of them. It’s very disheartening to see how the left has been spewing this overwhelming negativity and wishing death onto people who voted for trump. Someone on my timeline said “I hope peace never finds you.” And “While you enjoy a better economy and being able to afford ‘simple pleasures’ remember there are women dying” like what?? 😭 The party of peace and love but I haven’t seen one Trump supporter put out a video cussing out Kamala voters. The left is very aggressive and hateful calling names like Nazis, idk if it’s truly one sided or not.

Julie Lavoie

I was told by a guy I work with yesterday that everyone who voted for Trump were misogynistic and racist. When I pointed out the same thing, that i have no problem voting for a woman because she is the best choice, but not a woman because she is a woman, and that I am definitely not racist. He came back with...."well, everyone but you, you're the exception"......seriously???

Travis Edwards

I have 2 female friends that are not speaking to me because I will not support a woman. I did not vote for Hillary either. They do not get that I am happy to vote for a woman but it has to be the right woman. Neither of them could tell me one good thing Harris has done for this country. Oh, and I know my name makes it hard to tell but I am a woman.

Charlie Farrar

It's hard, my father has basically stopped talking to me. I know he will come around eventually but it is disheartening. It's even more sad that he agrees with most of Trump's policies but won't vote for him because he doesn't like him and the felon thing. No matter what I say to show him any truth, he won't listen. I have another friend that also agrees that Kamala was a horrible choice and agreed with most Trump policies but swears he's a draft dodger, rapist, and keeps going on about him telling a little girl that he would date her in 10 years. No matter what I say to dispute these claims, or how many lies I point out it is useless. These ppl are so forcefully and deeply ingrained with these thoughts and feelings by the media and extreme lefts that it is going to take a lot to get them to see the truth, if it is even possible anymore. Sorry for the long rant, I could go on for days but I'll save some for next time lol. "Edit to answer the question " I would like to see both videos, but number 2 first.

Travis Edwards

One of my leftist friends has fallen into the fear mongering. She’s telling all her followers to stay safe now that trump is president not only because she’s convinced trump is out to harm every minority group, but also because of the overflow of lgbtq people calling the suicide hotline (and supposed increase in suicide rates). How do I tell her all her friends are safe and that suicide is absolutely not the answer?

Faye Barton

Agreed on second video. I have some friends that are really.... disappointed. Some are posting some pretty awful generalized statements about Trump voters, but when pressed on them directly I'm apparently the exception to those sentiments. Whatever.

Robyn J Emory Murray

Number two sounds like a hoot

Dibizzle The Nerd

Video # 2 is a good option. It's better than those "Liberal Meltdown" videos other creators make.

Lena Williams

Number 2 is what we need more. People are so misguided by legacy media’s lies that people need to hear the truth since they can’t seem to remember we already had four years of Trump and it was wonderful until the unleashed the Covid insanity.

Dawn Demanda

I like both ideas, but 100% do the second one if not both. I had my mom call me a nazi, so the meltdowns are starting already and they are DEEP.

Shane

I'd like to see the 2nd one. I think it will be really good for anyone w/ any amount of concern or anxiety. You always explain thing in a way that makes sense and is easy to understand.

Azuki

I like both videos ideas but number two would be my choice between them. The way people are freaking out over Trump winning is definitely at an all time high so it would help with giving everyone (who is willing to put their stance on politics aside and listen that is) more information. I haven't lost friends because I don't speak too heavily on my political views, but seeing how many friendships that are ending because of this election is heartbreaking. Friendships should never center around politics. If the person is generally a good friend, there's no reason why you should be breaking it off.

StrawberryTamura

My sister hates me now too. It’s unbelievable coming from the left who is “inclusive” but excluded me as soon as I disagree

Carmen Olivo

I also like both videos and the topics kind of overlap. I’ve been canceled by my closest sister and my own daughter for voting for Trump. I’ve gotten all the names and my sister provided me with sites sources as to why Trump is all the bad things they say he is. I’m so exhausted from all of it this week I’m probably not even making sense lol. I love all your videos but #2 might be best first and then #1 because of all the unnecessary panic

Carmen Olivo

As a secret conservative playing ball in a liberal workplace, video one is what I'd like to see as I switch careers and move more authentically moving forward in my life.

Angel Ramos

I think the second is the best idea too although I'm happy that I voted for trump

ANTHONY DAVIS

Video 2?

Jacia

I like the first one. My sister hates me. Told me that I am rasict, stupid, selfish... all of the above. Told me " How could you do this!? Our dad is a person of color!" Me and my dad had a few conversations. he said that he doesn't care about how I vote and that he doesn't agree with that why my sister acted. My dad ended up voting for someone who wasn't kamala or trump. My sister said it was like throwing his vote away... "his an imagrant. His got imagrant friends and family there going to all get deported. Why didn't he just vote for kamala!?"

CC

I think both videos are a good idea, and for both videos, it’s important to encourage empathy for each other right now. I voted for Trump for the first time, but one of my best friends is pretty far left and she’s terrified. I’ve been trying to talk to her and give her space to vent and express her concerns, while also try and calmly explain my perspective and try to ease her fear and anxiety. It seems harder for her right now because she still sees me as a close friend but also as part of the reason she’s so upset. But we’re still trying to have empathy and compassion for each other. It’s important for all of us to remember that, and remember that some people do have legitimate concerns about a Republican controlled government.

Torel Beard

Uuuuuuugh, both of these hit home right now. I think number two would be more helpful. There are so many people that I know that think the world is going to end with a Trump presidency.

Deborah Browning

People need to be educated on Trump badly, SO many people are acting like he's gonna bust out the swastikas any day now and start shoving all gays into concentration camps.

WhatIsTheCharacterLimitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

More vids on trump and his absolute deception masterclass will lose me entirely

Clairètte83

I like the second one! Although I voted for Trump, I’ve been comforting friends and family that are upset by his victory. No matter what I try and say to comfort them, they still don’t have faith that a presidency under him will be okay.

Sora Hearts

I like both, sorry I'm no help 😂 Lots of overreacting online. Lots of "We can't be friends, you must be a racist, you don't care about LGBTQ+", etc... Earlier in the year, I decided not to share who I was going to vote for, and I left my Facebook largely apolitical. What I'm seeing is blanket statements from blue friends. I don't have the capacity to tell them that all the people I watch on YouTube that voted for Trump are all minorities in some aspect, and that they have a very narrow-minded approach to look at things the narrow way they are seeing them.

Liz

I say do both! The more vids the better, right?

Shane Wakefield

Both are great ideas. First, I would put out number two. I hope you do them both though 😊

Patronus Glow

Yeah I'm a racist, homophobic, and bigoted person 🙃 I've seen a lot of posts about how America hates women and how women should be mourning now, I just think it's crazy how many people feed off the lies

Tabbykatt

I like both a lot, and actually I think both would be very useful for people right now. I'm seeing so much panic on my social media feeds, even from people from my country which is quite far from America. Many people really think that people in the States are literally going to be murdered or taken to concentration camps just for being gay, trans, black, disabled, hispanic or left leaning, and that women are going to be locked up in some breeding factories. It's insane. I wouldn't have even voted for Trump cause I disagree with a lot of his policies, but people are acting like this is Hitler's comeback and that the States are falling under some fascist regime. And since people are so unhinged about it, I'm afraid a lot of families and friend groups will be torn apart. :( Like, I would get this reaction if Trump actually talked about concentration camps or something but he hasn't, so... Yeah.

Joanna

I think both are great ideas, but two is more important right now with all the meltdowns happening.

Sarah Maja

Yep, loads. Man who is an uncle to my daughter got jumped on by female friends on social media for telling my daughter to keep her chin up and calling her kiddo. 😞 it’s the party of love and equality, right? Sigh.

Dr. Tiffanie Bemoll

I love the idea of the first one! Personally I’m seeing alot of hate from the left for people that voted for Trump. I’m a black woman and this was my first time voting for Trump so all the advice would be helpful during these times
