WOW, what a creepy one this week.. very unsettling and a gross villain (physically and mentally). Some scenes were honestly hard to sit through, but I definitely did enjoy it!
Great to see that Kate will 'kind of' be one of the team! Now they just need to work out.. HOW to make more money with this gig..
Hope you guys are having a great weekend!
As always, if you click the video just after this post, you may need to download it first. This should be fixed in a couple of hours!

I actually liked your theory about him installing some sort of technology so that he could see through her eyes. That would have been a cool concept!

2023-11-10 11:25:32 +0000 UTCAt least in the U.S., there is very little that the police can do legally, until an actual prosecutable crime is committed. By the way, the actor who plays Ronald, also played the demon who "fired" Anya in "Dopplegangland".

2023-11-05 01:36:10 +0000 UTCRonald is absolutely dead. He can put his body parts back together, but if they're boxed separately they will eventually lack oxygen and die. That includes his hands and feet, but also his heart and brain. They could unbox him someday and he still would be dead as a doornail.

2023-11-04 19:34:38 +0000 UTCYea, I was thinking the PIN thing should definitely be something the police could use, but whether the police would just blow her off and tell her to change it to something new, who knows. The lawyers would probably blame her and say she told him the PIN to change it and turn that around on her too--even though she didn't tell him, the lawyers could easily argue that she did.

2023-11-04 03:41:01 +0000 UTCCool Runnings is from 1993 and absolutely amazing. I love that movie! We must be somewhere in the same age group because a lot of the same shows and movies that I watched, you'll mention. This episode is maybe a 6. It's a creepy storyline, for sure. The human villains are always the scariest because they are supposed to be humans. We don't like to think other humans can do horrible things, but they absolutely do. My favorite line is absolutely, "I have to change my shirt" when he hears Melissa is coming over. The delivery is just great. It's not necessarily that police won't do anything with stalking but that they often can't do things. If he weren't breaking other laws, then their hands are tied. She'd likely need a restraining order for them to do much, unless he gets to the stage of going into her apartment without permission or going to her workplace after having been told to not be there. (The PIN thing might be an actual issue, though. I'm no lawyer, so I don't know if that would be breaking actual laws.)

2023-11-04 01:26:24 +0000 UTCNot my favorite episode of this season, for sure, but as always, I'll watch every episode with you and not skip like I normally would. I appreciate having your perspective on them, even the bad episodes, or the uncomfotable ones. I feel that you give us new ways to look at them, and your insights (and predictions, LOL!) are welcome. Ronald is a creep on another level. Setting aside the supernatural part, he's basically an unsettling, real-life threat, a nightmare that too many people experience (not just women are stalked, though they make up the majority of the targets). What you said about how Ronald and Marcus would get along well made my blood run cold, because you are so right! Marcus is another example of how this show will use real-life creeps and blend it with the supernatural elements, Marcus being what he was (an Albert Fish type, so I don't have to type out the words) before he was even made a vampire. I hope you get the skips in your player smoothed out; I know that must be frustrating for you, and you end up missing some key elements during your first watch.

2023-11-03 21:32:10 +0000 UTCAngel drinks coffee first thing when he wakes up, whenever that is. With Joyce, I think he meant he doesn't drink it throughout the day as a socializing beverage.

2023-11-03 21:14:50 +0000 UTCThat scene also reveals the police did try to help her but the stalker hired the law firm Wolfram & Hart and they successfully defended him and they turned things against her.

2023-11-03 20:10:53 +0000 UTCSorry I comment too much, but stalking is one of these things where the police won’t really do anything until they break into your house or hurt you and sometimes it’s too late by then. It’s really sad.

2023-11-03 20:05:18 +0000 UTCIt’s a shame, I’m not finished yet, but I’m sure you missed Kate talking about stalking victims and how it follows them. You should go back and see it if you haven’t already!!!
