Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone Pitch Meeting First Time Watching Reaction! [EARLY ACCESS]

Hi guys!  Had a few requests to check these out, so here is my first ever watching of a Screen Rant 'Pitch Meeting'! This was very chotic, but very funny! XD

As I have started to post Buffy AND Angel each week, I wanted to get you guys that aren't into either something.  So sorry if you are not into those shows, and I want to be trying to get you regular other stuff in-between the Book Reviews!  So if you have any other suggestions, please let me know! :)

This is early access, so will turn up on Youtube in the future!  I hope you enjoy it! :)

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone Pitch Meeting First Time Watching Reaction! [EARLY ACCESS]

On the question of Christianity in the wizarding world, where "His miracles are stuff they learn to do at eleven": first, His miracles are not the main reason for our worship of Him anyway; they're almost an aside from the real reasons. Second, the statement is simply not true. Harry fulfilled one prophecy; Jesus fulfilled thousands. No witch or wizard has ever been born of a virgin or announced by angels. Turning water into wine is probably a violation of Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration (consumable substance, other than water, cannot be conjured from nothing or transfigured from non-consumable substance -- a rule that doesn't work if you can easily get around it by transfiguring water, which can be conjured). Stopping a violent natural windstorm is beyond wizard power. Literally walking on water (without turning it into something more solid first) probably is too (especially during a storm, which would make a Featherlight Charm rather problematic). Walking through walls can only be done if the walls in question were enchanted ahead of time for that purpose. Healing serious injuries, otherwise incurable illnesses, and blindness (including at least one person who was BORN blind) is something that Healers like Madam Pomfrey might be able to do, in some cases, but eleven-year-olds certainly cannot. Healing a deadly illness with a word spoken in a completely different city is not something any Healer has been known to do. Casting out demons, even if you reinterpret it as curing the insane (which is not the same thing at all) is not possible -- that's why the Janus Thickey ward exists. "No magic can raise the dead, Harry, I trust you know that" (unless we are talking about the Master of Death raising himself moments after dying -- Jesus is indeed Master of Death, but He raised others besides Himself, and it was sometimes hours or even days after the person died). These are things that Jesus did often, like they were nothing. Whether He was a muggle or a wizard isn't the question, because He demonstrated on a daily basis that He was far more powerful than any wizard ever born.

Honestly the game of thrones pitch meeting is fantastic! I actually take that one seriously (unlike this one which I see all in good fun) but in the game of thrones one they pointed out loads of things I was unhappy with in season 8 and it was so satisfying!!

Clare

Even though you’ve seen some, I’d love to see you do the MCU in release order! It’s a really cool journey.

Hey Veggie, I would love to see you react to the One Piece live action. I think you would really love the characters and the whole story. :)

Mila

i would have someone pre-watch for you, some pitch meetings have spoilers. i do not know about the Harry Potter ones. i know they spoil movies, but i do not know if they make book exclusive references

Garfnob

Oh yes, Pitch meetings are hilarious. I especially like the MCU ones. EDIT: Do the individual ones first and the all-in-one Pitch meeting after that.

Sending a howler - easy to imagine. But imagine what if the one to deliver the letters to owls - was Filch :D I mean, he has to do something during the summer, so why not hypothetically agree to something like that... Harry's year would've made it quite a quest 😅

"Do they have chefs in the wizarding world?" is a question that we certainly will discuss in a book club soon enough!

Hairy Pothead

those are amazing. you can pretty much watch any of them if you watched the movie about it.

Florian Krause

In my mind, he's just giving back the points deducted for getting caught helping smuggle Norbert, without implicating Hagrid by telling the truth. Then the Quirrell shenanigans gets ten points to Harry and ten to Neville. But yes, dick move on the timing 😂

I think that Dumbledore was fully right to give all those points to Gryffindor, but waiting until the feast to do it, and then give them just enough to win, was a bit of a jerk/diva move 🤣 It actually isn’t possible to make food appear out of nothing in the wizarding world, but we are going to find out more about where the Hogwarts feasts come from in Goblet of Fire, so I’m going to leave it at that for now. Also, I always assumed that when Harry said “We’ll take the lot”, he meant some of everything, not all of everything 🤣
