Hi guys!  Time for another book review! And WHAT a couple of chapters we have here (with no Quidditch rants!!)!

Today we talk about Much Ado About Nothing, Star Wars (again) and Last of the Summer Wine, as well as a few minutes about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Hope your week is going great, and that you are looking forward to the weekend!

Love you guys!  And thanks to everyone that took part in the Book Club!

Oh, P.S - I dont' make it clear at the start, but Kenneth Branagh played Lockhart in Harry Chamber of Secrets! XD

everything bagel chopped salad mix with shrimp A little late to the game on this one! I think a muggle born witch or wizard would make the best muggle studies teacher. They have the muggle knowledge and would likely live full time in the wizarding world. That just makes the most sense to me. About the boggarts. You don't CHOOSE your boggart. The boggart changes into whatever IT thinks will scare you the most, so you don't get a say. If you were to happen across one "in the wild" you don't have time to prepare what it's going to be. If that makes sense. So, yes, I agree, letting Neville embarrass "Professor Snape" (the boggart, why it's in quotes) wasn't super professional, he couldn't help who it turned into. Just like Hermione didn't choose Professor McGonagall to be her boggart. P.S. GO HAWKS!!! Yes, I'm from Seattle.

hash browns The part where you choose either from the books or the movies, whichever you like better, is new to me. I just created two entirely different universes in my head, to me those are almost two separate stories. I also do this with different ships, honestly I don't even know anymore how many universes of Harry Potter exist in my mind. 😄

Marzipan chocolate balls. Veggie, it's important to keep the book version of Quirrell's ending as the canonical one in your head! Otherwise the thestrals make no sense later on. Also it's particularly egregious the third movie never explains Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs since in the fifth film he shouts out "They've got Padfoot!" while Umbridge has him hostage. I imagine movie watchers at the time must have been a little confused as to wtf Padfoot meant, given the last mention of that name was two films ago?

Steak The problem with a Muggle teaching at Hogwarts is that it’s established in the franchise that Muggles can’t see Hogwarts. It looks like a old, moldy ruin to them, so it would be hard for a Muggle professor to teach there, let alone even find it. The fact that this is established canon leads to a potential plot hole in the Fantastic Beasts films...

Since you enjoy Jacob Kawolski or whatever from Fantastic Beasts, i'll lay it out like this. You can leviosa you could achio, you could use spells on a MUGLE teacher without them having any form of defense other than detention. An actual MUGGLE teaching Muggle studies would just enforce the fact that they are "no mages" and it would become a larger problem seeing them as "weak". PS 1:30ish you brought up no one really does any area of effect type spell in the OG potter movies. After playing the game and you saying that now... I don't think there was a single spell that took out 2+ other than the patronus shield.

Pizza! I think Hermione was the same nerdy bookworm even before she started Hogwarts. People are usually born with this kind of passion for knowledge and Hermione's parents being very educated and inteligent people (they were dentists after all) just proves that it was probably a trait she inherited from them. Being accepted to a school of magic might have made her thirst for knowlege even greater, since she would learn a lot of new and interesting things, but she was always like that.

Fish and chips today, tuna salad sandwich tomorrow. I love these. I'm finding out all kinds of fan theories I never heard of and watching your reactions is always so entertaining. Freddie

Ramen :) History of magic is mandatory from first year to fifth year. You can drop it after that. Also I think the difference with McGonagall being Hermione’s boggart and Snape being Neville’s, McGonagall is just the one telling her she failed. Failure is the real boggart. Neville’s is straight up just Snape. I imagine Ron would have gone last since his last name starts with W, but she wanted Harry to go last because *drama* As to whether McGonagall thinks poorly of Trelawny or divination in general, I think the correct answer to that is yes. No one won the quidditch cup in chamber because the tournament was cancelled after Hermione and Penelope were attacked. One theory on the whole not seeing Pettigrew on the map thing, one fan theory is that you can’t see someone in their animagus form on the map unless you know they are an animagus. There’s also a fun/sad theory about crookshanks but I can’t say more until deathly hallows. Also I’m glad you like my personal head canon thing 🤣 I do the same thing with the Disney Star Wars stuff, mainly because I don’t need to know what happens the day after happily ever after (ROTJ)
