-------------------------------------

Hi guys!  As promised, here is the full version of Goblet of Fire before the YT Edit! I am still working on that and hope to get it posted this coming weekend!

Thank you ALL so much for the amazing support the past few weeks. It really has hit me for 6!  I mention in the above video, I will be displaying each Patron's name in the edit (properly, not just a quick flash XD), so sorry I was not able to read them out this time.

Wow... this one is a rollacoaster of emotions.  Some of my happiness and saddest moments so far with the series.

And if you were wondering which would be the first movie to move me to tears, well...

Enjoy the reaction! ;) #HufflePuffPride

Comments

Oh thanks for the recommendation!!

VEGGIE GAMER

If you want to know more about the series you should look at the SuperCarlinBrothers, they make a lot of videos discussing theories about the Harry Potter series.

Thomas Gabriel White

There is a video that talks about which Hogwarts houses each Doctor would be in. It's interesting.

Thomas Gabriel White

Hagrid was Gryffindor, but he does respect Hufflepuff more than other people do. He actually slightly defended them in the first book, saying it's better to be in Hufflepuff than Slytherin.

Thomas Gabriel White

Kega... you will not BELIEVE how perfectly timed your message was! You get a shout out in the next reaction because in the break I ask if Butterbeer has alcohol in and suddenly see your message! XD

VEGGIE GAMER

note on the "are they drunk" comment: probably in the books its noted that butterbeer has a small amount of real alcohol in it. first years are only aloud to drink a cup or two, the older you get the more youre alloud to drink, with the exception of course of special occasions, in this case the world cup

Kega

Wow, a Shark patronus sounds amazing!!

VEGGIE GAMER

Still Slytherpuff My wand: Silver lime wood with a unicorn hair core, 10 Ÿ" and slightly springy flexibility My patronus: is a Shark and it sort of fits me - I am very good at "sniffing out" what people a re up to, I have alot of energy, and I have a good sense for changes. The confidence part does not really fit, but the sociable part fits well... - but yeah... I am a "sea" person though. So I love it

Dara Jeeling

I'm a Ravenclaw

Jamkha

Just a fun, random fact: The Malfoy name means, "bad faith or unfaithful" in French.....pretty fitting.....

Amanda Levy

Yeah I'll admit, the whole dragon round did seem very cruel to me, I honestly agree withe hagrid that they are all just 'missunderstood' XD The solution without violence should definitely be the way!

VEGGIE GAMER

Oh and btw: Never apologize for crying. Crying is a strenght not a weakness.

AyaaChann

Alot is already covered exept for one thing. I found out about this a few weeks ago and it made me sad. In the fist round of the tournament, they had to fight dragons. These were all mother dragons whose eggs were taken away right after she laid them. They put fake dragons eggs in the arena (the participents had to receive). The mother dragons thought these were their own eggs and thought they were going to steal them. That why they were so aggresive. She wanted to kill Harry because he got to close to her egg (which was a fake). Very sad.. and cruel. So she lost her egg, "found it" and saw someone getting to close to her baby. So ofcourse they get so aggressive. My heart :(. Cruel tournament. Oh and btw, because these last two are not the extended versions anymore, i can properly watch your reaction! So im very happy about that :D.

AyaaChann

Ah okay that's fair! Thanks for your reply :)

Leah Duff

Hi Leah, I can post them here as well, but probably at the same time as the YT post, would that help at all? I will do some other early access ones, but the movie edits take so long I like to get them posted as soon as they are ready. I hope that makes sense!

VEGGIE GAMER

Hey! Just wondering, are you planning to post the YouTube edited versions here as well for early access? Or just the full versions?

Leah Duff

That is so crazy, Dannielle! Guess it was like a mini-reunion! XD

VEGGIE GAMER

Ah thanks Appryntice! Yeah I thought I heard Crabbe at the time and while editing I now realise they were both there! Intriguing!!

VEGGIE GAMER

Funny how you mentioned that Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes were in In Bruges because so was Clémence Poésy who played Fleur Delacour. She was the French girl that Colin Farrell hung out with.

Dannielle

Malfoy's friends are Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle. They're not brothers, but the three of their fathers were all in the graveyard with Voldemort. Macnair (the executioner who killed Buckbeak before Harry and Hermoine went back in time) was also there.

appryntice

Thanks Noaa! Yeah I have seen other comments saying they aren't particular fans of this one! Either way, glad you enjoyed the reaction! :)

VEGGIE GAMER

I keep missing the initial release of these because of school recently and finally got a chance to watch this last night. Great reaction, as always Veggie. I think this one is probably my least favourite of the series, but it's still very good IMO. I don't have much lore to share this time, I think everyone else covered it. The next one is certainly one of the best I'd say, so I'm looking forward to it :)

Noaa

Thank you Diego!! This is very interesting! And makes a lot of sense with what happened! :)

VEGGIE GAMER

Just wanted to mention something that wasn't really explained in the movies: The thing were Voldemorts and Harrys wand connect like that on the graveyard only happens because they have each a feather from the same Phoenix in their wand (They have so called twin cores). If they had just had some random wands they could at best have intercepted each others spells, but there wouldn't have been this cage of light and the "ghosts" of the people Voldemort had killed wouldn't have appeared either. I always feel like that's quite an important bit of context that gets lost in the moviesđŸ€”

Diego ZenhÀusern

Haha thank you Alie! I was starting to feel bad about calling Cho 'Pumpkin Pasty' XD

VEGGIE GAMER

Haha yeah I was wondering that about the final student underwater XD

VEGGIE GAMER

yeah, I wouldn't recommend twilight either lol..

sett4r

I adored Miranda as Queen Elizabeth in Blackadder, one of my all-time favorite Britcoms. These films really have a host of amazing actors, and as an avid watcher of a lot of British programmes (particularly Britcoms), there are so many that I recognize, too. If only Rowan Atkinson had joined the cast at some point as well, LOL! Or Adrian Edmondson, Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry....I could go on. Shame they cut Rik Mayall's scenes, may he rest in peace. You mentioned Laurie & Fry in Jeeves and Wooster, and I have the boxed set as well, lol. I also enjoyed their comedy show A Bit of Fry & Laurie. This Alaskan loooooves British shows. My mother, may she also rest in peace, loved the Britcoms very much as well; her favorite of all was Doc Martin, and we watched that together up until her death. I loved the show, but I haven't been able to watch it again, not yet. I need to return to Doctor Who; I left the series somewhere in the middle, ha ha. I was enjoying it, but I have so many shows that I'm watching that it gets difficult to keep up with all. As good as Robert Pattinson is in this as Cedric Diggory the Hufflepuff, I really couldn't recommend the Twilight movies. :p Unless you like really drippy, saccharine romance movies masquerading as vampire flicks. Just MY opinion, though!

RavenLord

I also really enjoyed the beginning were he saw Moddy's silouette in the rain and just went: "Well, that's not David TenanntđŸ€”!" And I just thought : "Well, I mean....technically I think it is xD"

Diego ZenhÀusern

Yeah, hunger games and LOTR both seem like solid choiced for future reactions🙂

Diego ZenhÀusern

The change in atmosphere is great! Though I have to say that I dislike that they make the spider flote in the air because it makes it seem like imperio is just a hovering charm or something like that and many people (who haven't read the books) don't really understand that it's literal mind controlđŸ€”

Diego ZenhÀusern

Oh most definitely! Subtitles are a great addition for future movies, especially with all the crucial information that will continue to get mentioned... in tons! Adding subtitles would also mean Veggie wouldn't have to talk less in his reactions, which would be a shame if he did, since I love all his input and thoughts, etc. So yeah, I second subtitles for the rest of the series, to not miss the crucial stuff that's need-to-know ;)

sett4r

Yep, that was Crabbe you heard at the end there, also, Goyle (Draco's other friend) was mentioned. All 3 Slytherin boys have relatives loyal to the dark lord. The Death Eaters who showed up in the graveyard were his supporters who avoided Azkaban after the war, mostly by stating they were under the Imperius curse and being controlled against their will. When Harry sees Viktor Krum "bewitched" in the maze, he is actually under the Imperius curse (which is why he helped harry.) Voldemort's most loyal Death Eaters are still in Azkaban.... so were Barty Crouch JR and Sirius Black until recently.. Im sure this suggestion has been made, but i find watching with subtitles to be the best experience, It will definetly help you hear and identify names more clearly, but i think you are doing a fantastic job either way!

GOTnissa

Absolutely loved this reaction! As usual ;) Enjoy hearing your favorite characters after each movie, and I’ve gotta say, Snape has got to be up there for me as one of the best-written characters in this series. Alan Rickman does an amazing job at portraying him as well ;) Your reaction to seeing Robert Pattinson (Batman) was everything to me - alongside your overall joy and excitement regarding the World Cup, and, basically, just every other aspect of these movies as well lol
+ I agree; the Weasley Twins are tHE bEST. “Slytherin never win anything”
*cries in slytherin* We can all thank Dumbles for that, in the 1st movie at least, with him awarding points and bending rules for
reasons? Poor Slytherins. This movie was peak teenage angst and, most definitely, hormones lol. Also, I lost it at your reaction to Ron saying “git”
fantastic. And your absolute hype and love for Neville as well! Did not enjoy Ron being such a git himself though, which was rather annoying. He had great hair though! “[about Cedric] he better not die!”
*nervous laughter* “[about Moody] I think we can trust him”
oh you poor unknowing soul.. I would love to see you covering the Harry Potter books / audiobooks! Though I can’t, at this moment, come up with a way for you to properly do so. About Snape, as Dumbledore said in this movie; “Severus Snape was indeed a Death Eater, and prior to Lord Voldemort’s downfall, turned spy for us, at great personal risk! He is no more Death Eater than I am!” Currently, Dumbledore believes Snape turned to the good side, where’s he’s now working as a spy for them all, pretending to be on Voldemort's side and thereby his spy. Voldemort believes Snape to be his own spy, pretending to be on / be a spy for the good side, having fooled them into thinking he turned good. Whoever is correct in their assumption? You will find out ;) You were correct in assuming that Harry relived a memory, the one involving Barty Crouch Jr. Said memories can be extracted and placed in a Pensive; a magical device used to review and store memories. Voldemort referred to Harry’s mother – Lily – as a muggle, rather she was a muggle-born. A witch born to muggle parents, just as Hermione herself. Voldemort doesn’t seem to care much either way though lol.. I know you’ll rewatch the movie again, but just thought I’d help clear up the 3 Unforgivables. First off, The Imperius Curse (Imperio) causes the victim to perform the unquestioned bidding of the caster. Viktor Krum, for example, was under the Imperius Curse inside the maze, which is why he didn't attack Harry; making sure he would get to the Cup himself and arrive in the Graveyard... thx Crouch Jr. Secondly, The Cruciatus Curse (Crucio) inflicts excruciating pain on the recipient of the curse
it tortures them. Mentioned in this movie as well, was how Neville Longbottom’s parents – Alice & Frank – were tortured to insanity with the curse. Lastly, The Killing Curse (Avada Kedavra) causes instant and painless death. The only one to have ever survived the Killing Curse is Harry Potter, the whole reason for his fame, alongside “defeating” Voldemort back then. Also, there will be handed out crucial and important information of dialogues in the future movies to come, so it’s important to listen well lol
perhaps take more breaks throughout the video for the future movies, since we’re now getting to the very important parts? Or simply add subtitles to the future movies, as to not miss anything of importance? Lastly, I love the small silences you sometimes have, do not apologize for those. No matter if you’re either talking or simply listening; you’re reacting! That’s what we care for. And let’s be honest, we all bawled our eyes out to this movie. You’ll probably do so again in future movies, as we all did, so do not apologize for doing so! We want to see your honest reaction
and if something brings you to tears? We’re crying right along with ya ;)

sett4r

Personally I love your nicknames for any new character that comes along. They make perfect sense to me xD

Alie

I can second Firefly if that is a series you have not seen

Alie

Hi, Just watched along, it was great thanks, first time on patreon. Couple of things, Cedric's shortened to Ced, not Zed, so you can safely dissociate him from the psycho in Pulp Fiction, and Barty Crouch Jr never made it to Azkaban in the books, as Fudge ordered the dementors to perform the dementor's kiss on him, effectively killing him. Dumbledore was unimpressed. And as a suggestion for a series, if you haven't seen it Firefly and it's companion movie Serenity are great. And you'll probably love the Hunger Games (though you might tear up for those too 😉). Thanks again, see you next time.

Aidan Kemsley

It is a dragon as dragons are depictided differently in different fictions. They're fictional creatures after all so fiction does not have to stick to certain rules when portraying them. Also its not said in the movies but in the books it is stated that the teachers would have gotten the person who was not collected in the blacklake though Harry obviously did not know that XD

Clare

i dont think you could go wrong doing hunger games or lord of the rings next. I also think you should consider the twilight movies since you have not seen them. They do make for great reactions! Your intro was very entertaining and not at all too long!

GOTnissa

if you're interested, check out @megherren3 on TikTok. i really enjoyed her selfie shorts style of reviewing the HP books.

GOTnissa

I personally love mad eye moody scene with the spider. I love the change of atmosphere, how everyones laughing at first but then everything goes silent as Madeye moody almost drowns the spider as the students suddenly realise the true danger of the spell. A lot of reactors don't understand the seriousness of the scene and are like why are the students getting so worked up over a spider and why is it being treated so seriously, despite I do think the scene is litually going, imagine you or your loved ones at the end of one of these spells to the students, it not about the spider, its the implication of what the spider represents and the students realise this. I just love the change of atmosphere in the scene.

Clare

Now that surprises me, but I guess it would only be Griffindor if not Hufflepuff (no offense to Hagrid XD) Thanks for info Michael!!

VEGGIE GAMER

While it's never mentioned in the books, or the movies, J.K Rowling has said Hagrid is in Griffindor, but I agree with you. he should be in Hufflepuff

Michael Short

Thank you so much Raidyn!!

VEGGIE GAMER

cannot wait to watch this! keep up the amazing work, doing fantastic!

sett4r

Oh thank you!! There will be quite a few in this one XD

VEGGIE GAMER

Oh also, you do a really nice job with your edits, so they’re worth the wait! I watch them later to tide me over and to see your inserted pics and stuff XD

Triene (Katie)

Tina Aikaa

Haha, there is no rush XD Think about tomorrow morning!! XD

VEGGIE GAMER

VEGGIE GAMER
