Have you ever wished to drop it all and run away to another plane of existence? You can do just that with the Adventurer's Guide to Planar Travel. Swim throughout the Plane of Water. Hike the mountains of the Plane of Earth. Float aimlessly in the Astral Sea. Whatever your desire (or death wish), the Guide can take you there.

This magic item was inspired by two totally different things. I was reading about the Codex of Infinite...don't mention the rest and get in trouble with WotC, but check out artifacts in the previous editions, and you'll be able to figure it out quite quickly. It's a power item but ridiculous to use. This is my conversion to the 5th edition, even if it seems completely different.

I solved my inner conflict about just rehashing the artifact to 5e standards but changed my mind after watching the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. If you haven't since the movie, or god forbid, read the book, do it now.
