This week we are taking a look at the elemental monsters you might stumble across if you travel to the Plane of Fire, more specifically the City of Brass. While these creatures aren't unique to the City of Brass, as many reside across the planes, many make their home within the golden streets of the city. With obsidian walls and brass towers, the City of Brass is a metropolis in one of the unlikeliest and hottest of places. Some believe that the City of Brass is the largest city in the multiverse and if you can't find it for sale in the city, you'll never find it for sale elsewhere.
Cinderpedes (CR 0) I might be a bit too proud of my name for these foul little insects. These creatures have a burning bite and aren't so dangerous when caught by themselves, but...
Firestorm Swarm (CR 2) When a nest of cinderpedes form together, they create a dangerous swarm of burning insects. Not only does a cloud of soot follow them wherever they go, acting as a signal to all to begin running away, they can burst into flames and set creatures ablaze.
Fire Titan (CR 13) These massive fire elementals are made of burning rock and fire; their veins pulse with bubbling lava, and they ooze magma as they stomp forward. They are some of the most dangerous fire elementals, and many might even think they are minor primordials if they don't know much about elementals.
Janni (CR 11) We have dao, djinn, efreeti, and marid, but what about the Janni? These genie are thought to be the weakest of their kind as they must exist on the Material Plane or their body will disintegrate from being exposed to only a single element at a time. Of all the jinn, they are the most likely to help outsiders lost in the desert. For those who are seeking a way to journey the elemental planes, the Janni are a likely solution as they can easily phase between the elemental planes, even if they won't stay long.
Sha'ir (CR 8) This wizard has a bound minor genie, known as a jinnling, and specializes in elemental magics. They often serve a genie lord, who pays their services with knowledge of primal magic. As such, they don't rely on a spellbook and spells, but rather on their knowledge of elements, focusing the ire of the elemental planes on their enemies.
