One-Shot: Skitter Crash (Starfinder) - June 25th, 2021

I (Stephen) am going to be running a one-shot on June 25th but first I need a few players - which is where you come in. This will be a first-come, first-serve though our $10 patrons get first dibs. After that, I'll be opening it up to our $5 patrons (15th), a few days later to our $1 patrons (18th), and then it will be open to anyone on our Discord (20th). I have room for 6 players in the one-shot. If you are in one of the lower tiers, feel free to message me beforehand and I'll add you to the waiting list.
Special Note: Those who were in the first session of this series will have priority.

Time: Friday, June 25th, 2021 [20210625] 6pm EDT to about 10pm EDT [10pm UTC to about 2am UTC]

The adventure: We will be playing inside of the Starfinder setting out in SPACE! Our one-shot will be Skitter Crash an adventure for the Starfinder system. This will be using the Starfinder ruleset, but I'll be providing pre-gens and will be used to introduce players to the system.

After a successful salvaging mission, a team of skittermanders are riding a joyous high aboard their very own starship. However, angry space pirates with a grudge crash the party—and then a bizarre interstellar cyclone engulfs both sides' vessels and flings them into a strange world's atmosphere! Thanks to the help of a tiny mining vessel, the skittermanders are able to escape to this swampy planet. Once they take in their boggy surroundings, it's up to the furry heroes to track down their ship, avoid vengeful enemies, work with the sluglike scholars living in the muck, and find a way off this dangerous planet once and for all!

For character generation:

- Characters are made using the Starfinder ruleset

- Pregenerated Characters are provided, which includes Mystic, Soldier, Envoy, and Mechanic.

- If you have experience with Starfinder, you can build a 3rd level skittermander character using the CRB and COM.

- No evil characters. Your characters should want to be part of the story and be interested in what happens next. Skittermanders are renowned for their helpful nature and willingness to help others, regardless of that creature's intentions.

Before the game:

- Send me your character sheet (or I'll send you a pre-gen before the game)

- Set up an account on Roll20

- Select a character token/portrait and send it to me so I can set it up on Roll20

Helpful tips:

- Due to time constraints, I'll be pacing combat quickly, I understand that this might be a new system for many and am happy to explain certain mechanics. Some things might be handwaved as I won't stick strictly to the rules for first-time players.

- If you build a character, I can recommend the Starbuilder app for android devices.

- Ensure you have a working microphone (phone or computer mic is fine) and working speakers/headphones.

Background: For the background of your character, you are a skittermander working for a vesk boss shipping cargo in the Vast, the empty regions of space. It's a dangerous place for anyone to be, but with a little teamwork and a go-get-em attitude, one can easily survive.
