One-Shot: Crashing Winterfest - December 18th, 2020

I (Stephen) am going to be running a one-shot on December 18th but first I need a few players - which is where you come in. This will be a first-come, first-serve though our $10 patrons get first dibs. After that, I'll be opening it up to our $5 patrons (7th), a few days later to our $1 patrons (10th), and then it will be open to anyone on our Discord (13rd). I have room for 6 players in the one-shot. If you are in one of the lower tiers, feel free to message me beforehand and I'll add you to the waiting list.

Time: Friday, December 18th, 2020 [20201218] 6 pm EST to about 10 pm EST [11 pm UTC to about 3 am UTC]

The adventure: We will be playing a Dump Stat Adventures' very own one-shot! This adventure is our newest adventure titled Crashing Winterfest!

The benevolent goblin king Krunkus the Magnificent has heard of a powerful and wondrous item known as a 'present'. He is sending an elite squad of goblins across a region known as the Wild Ice to infiltrate a gnome village and steal these presents so that he can take over the world.

It's up to this elite squad to infiltrate the village, locate these powerful magic items, and bring them back to Krunkus the Magnificent - hopefully in one piece.

For character generation:

- Characters are made using the Dungeons & Dragons 5e ruleset

- Standard Stat Array or Point Buy

- Level the character up to 2nd level

- Characters must be goblins. If you do not have access to the goblin racial traits, please message me and I'll get those sent over to you.

- Characters are restricted to Player's Handbook, Volo's Guide to Monsters, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.

- Magic items can be selected from the Dungeon Master's Guide or Xanathar's Guide to Everything. You can select up to 1 common items and 1 uncommon item.

- Multiclassing and Feats are allowed

- We will be interacting with humanoids.

- Evil characters are allowed, but you should be focused on helping the squad achieve their mission. With that said, this adventure will remain suitable for a PG-13 rating. The goal is for chaos and laughter without plunging into dark topics. 

Before the game:

- Send me your character sheet

- Set up an account on Roll20

- Select a character token/portrait and send it to me so I can set it up on Roll20

Helpful tips:

- Due to time constraints, I'll be pacing combat quickly, please read through your character abilities and have a rough understanding of how it all works.

- If you are using DnDBeyond, I recommend the Beyond20 extension for Chrome and Firefox as it can allow for very fast rolling on the virtual tabletop.

- Ensure you have a working microphone (phone or computer mic is fine) and working speakers/headphones.

Background: For the background of your character, you are a goblin in the goblin village of Icecrack located in the region of the world known as the Wild Ice. This frozen realm is home to ice, snow, and more ice with only a few nearby settlements.
