Code Geass 2x25 AFTER TALK #2!!

Comments

If i put in the time i think i could actually put together a set of events leading to Lelouch faking his death. For instanc he JUST chastised schneizel for being willing to die for his plan and that is why he lost. So maaaaaaybe he wouldn't have let himself die? lol, i do think he died. Just a fun idea.

yeah , i think this show is about a necessary tragedy and a real sacrifice was needed to fulfill a good ending. While i want CC and lelouch to be together i think a bittersweet him talking to her from Cs world makes more sense.

One of the things that makes the ending an all time great is that it's subject to your interpretation. Kinda like pick your own ending in a Choose Your Own Adventure book. If you believe Lelouch changed throughout the series to the point he would sacrifice himself for the benefit of the world you may prefer to think he died. If you believe Lelouch stayed the same from beginning to end you may prefer to think he pulled off his greatest staged act by fooling Suzaku + the entire world and is immortal living happily ever after with C2.

More evidence? But when Charles had the immortality code he also gained the geass symbol on his palm. When we look at Lelouch's palm it's covered in blood. Was that deliberate so we couldn't see the red Geass symbol or just a coincidence?

Some evidence to ponder. When Nunnally touched Lelouch she had a vision. Was that just a representation of her thoughts as she figured out what Lulu & Suzaku had planned? Or did she have a vision because she touched someone with the immortality code, like people who touched C2 saw visions?

I personally prefer the ending where Lelouch actually dies, and that is my interpretation of the ending. I think it can definitely be open ended though. It's also nice to imagine that Lelouch is immortal, and C.C. now has someone to spend eternity with.
