Sketchbook 2022 Coming Soon, plus some other thoughts

Hey everyone!  Hope you've been having a comfy holiday!  Just wanted to write out some thoughts about this page, about things I'm hoping to do, stuff I'm excited to share. 

SKETCHBOOK AND COMMISSION DOCS

I'm very eager to share this!!  There's so much art in it, hopefully it won't be too large a download.  And the year isn't over yet, so I'm still putting stuff into it.  Cram packed!!

I'm going to export it is as a PDF, but I'm also going to try to upload the entire CSP comic document.  This is going to (I believe) include all the layer and timelapse data for each and every file in the sketchbook.  It's going to be well over 600 pages.

That means that while I won't be uploading timelapse vids directly, they will still be included in the document.  If you have CSP you'll be able to load them up and watch them at your leisure.

In the future I'm planning to upload a sketchbook every month following this format.  It'll be a lot smaller, but patrons will get one more often, and it won't take me several minutes to open up any time I want to draw! Win win!!

I'm also planning to do this with commissions.  Since the commission document historically hasn't been nearly half as large as the sketchook document, I'm electing to post that as a big year end thing instead of a monthly one.  I'll continue to upload commissions as they are completed, it's just the giant document they all live in that I'll save for the end.

SKETCH CLUB

I'm glad people are interested in the sketch club tier!! I wanna gradually expand the slots available.  They're a lot of fun to do, I just don't want to overwhelm myself right out of the gate.  Probably going to increase to five, and feel it out from there.  Stay tuned!

GOALS

I've been thinking about setting up some goals, unlocking things like access to a discord server, adding more goodies available to patrons, things like that.

The BIG thing I wanna work towards is a very big personal project, something I'm not really able to devote time to because I have bills to pay.  If patreon is able to cover those bills, I would absolutely love to finally be able to work on Slimeology, the story of a slime girl and a bird girl who find out they're hella gay for each other, and the adventures they have together as they grow closer.

It's a story I've wanted to tell for a long long while now, and with help from you I'd be able to actually start telling it!  I'll say more about it in a future post, but just know it's on the radar.

I think that's about all of it!  I'd love to hear your thoughts, what sort of stuff you're enjoying, what you'd like to see in the future.  Am I doing this right? Could I be doing it better?  Let me know!
