i very nearly dropped the show after this episode aswell. despite all the warning signs i couldn't believe it happened.

L was the only thing keeping me interested. I really appreciate the dramatic and solemn tone that came through in all the different facets of the show's production in this episode. The imagery and the allusions were perfect.
