“Happy Birthday” Tutorial

So, here we go. I think y’all will find this as therapeutic as I did.

Things to note:

Third-degree silicone goes through a variety of stages before it sets. If your design sort of..melts back into goop—don’t worry. You have to keep molding and shaping until it gets to a point where it’s tacky. Once it’s tacky, you can start creating the intricate details you want. I’d say realistically, it has about a 5-10 minute setting time depending on how warm your skin is.

It can also be manipulated with foundation, grease paint, or eye shadow. The reason why I chose to do my foundation in this look was for warm undertones. It added to the depth, and also made it easier for me to achieve the look faster.

You absolutely DO NOT have to own an Urban Decay palette for this look. My guy friends: you can buy a palette from Mehron that contains all these colors I use. My women friends: I’d recommend you do the same, but in case you want a dual-purpose palette (like me) UD is my go-to.

I do it because I absolutely love your work, and it is my little contribution to support you the best I can. And like I said before, I do say what my heart dictates me :-)

That is really amazing how you achieve that look!! Really impressed by your skills and that you manage to do it on your own, with the help of a mirror :o Great realism there, and I am a big fan of this!!
