Yorc-sama (Back to the Onryō)
Added 2023-02-04 02:20:55 +0000 UTCI’m not gonna lie—this is my heart and soul. Doing Japanese tributes to my favorite ghouls is what gets my blood pumping. If you notice, I’m bending on that right knee. It’s sore as shit, but I anticipate it’s going to be sore for awhile. I’m still two months post-op—I have to remember that.
If you’re new here, then you must know that J-Horror is my absolute favorite thing in the world. I am completely and utterly in love with Japanese yokai and the history of juons. Yorc-sama is me; I flipped my name backwards and added the Japanese feminine for “San”, though, you could easily argue that’s just a greeting for respectable folks.
Regardless, I see myself as a onryō. I can capture the essence of one down to the tee, and identify the most with the folklore. I won’t be posting these till Monday, but I wanted to go ahead and post them here.
Tomorrow is my first day back to work tomorrow. Wish me luck y’all. I’m fucking nervous.
