So, I’m crippled…for now. I’ll spare you all the story again, but in case you didn’t know, I was in a car accident on Saturday. Since I’m pretty much SOL in terms of creating art, I figure I’ll take the time to focus on tutorials.
If you’re new on here, one of the things I advocate most to budding artists, is the fact that you can absolutely create amazing photos WITHOUT Adobe. By no means am I an Adobe hater; I’m just saying that I don’t like seeing photographers and artists become disappointed that they can’t afford the software. Fuck that noise.
I use Facetune and Snapseed. Now, I personally have used Photoshop and I just didn’t like it. I find more hype circulating around it than actual evidence it’s superior to all other editing apps. I think if anything, the Adobe name has become synonymous with “success”. Bullshit, moving on.
I’m going to show you some little things I do, jumping back and forth between applications. I don’t encourage you all to follow my blueprint; rather, I want you to explore and have fun. The biggest key to a well edited photo is not making it look so good, but instead, making it look…imperfect. I’m learning new things everyday, and by no means do I think I’m the kit’s tits, but I think I’ve been doing it long enough to catch where I went wrong.
At any rate; I hope this kinda shows you that editing doesn’t have to be perfect! If you have any questions—please message! ❤️
