Title for Card Slinger, Vol. 1

I'm about two-thirds through writing Book 1 of Card Slinger, and it's time to start thinking about the best title for Volume 1. I have a few options in mind, but I’d love to hear your thoughts! Which one do you think fits best? Or, if you have a better idea, feel free to share!

2025-02-24 18:38:20 +0000 UTCWhile I think [Beginner Island] is appropriate for this part of the story, I really think [Card Collector] suits Deckard the most. On the other hand, [Starfish and Seagulls] would be an indicator to what kind of cards he's collecting in this part of the story too. [The Worst Deck Ever] might have been more appealing if it was said differently, but currently it's my least favorite one.

2025-02-24 13:46:09 +0000 UTCThis is actually a bit tough. The two animal types is reminiscent of the two jobs you use in the handyman series. There good brand marketing in that. On the other hand I picked card collector because that is the nature of the story. A love of cards in general as opposed to the individual decks in use. That and card card champion or king of games sound like more fun follow-up names then expanding the zoo crew.
