Woo, new chapter!

Sorry this one took so long, I was sure I was going to finish it much sooner and it was looking almost done at about the two week mark.

Then my poor health decided to flare up, but that turned out to be a blessing, because I went back and checked some things and realized I was about to mess up big time with some of the vitae and bloodwell percentages I was throwing out. Naturally, I remedied this by taking my sweet time making an excel sheet, then second-guessing my plans once I saw some of the numbers, then adjusting the numbers until I was satisfied. By the time all that was finished, I was finally feeling much better and good enough to finish up the chapter after making multiple edits to the problem parts.

This chapter was longer than I wanted. I'm trying to aim for more manageable chapters in the 4-6k range because I've noticed long chapters tend to stress me out more and stall the content. This one is around 8.5k, pretty near the max limit I'm willing to accept. I considered splitting it in two, but there wasn't a good place for it, so whatever.

And honestly, even though it took a month, I'm still happy I managed a chapter. Still much slower than other authors, I know, but I'm trying to take any progress I make and be happy with it!

Last note: I made some small edits to the early chapters while I was sick, but nothing big so far. Just wanted to let everyone know that the Spacebattles version might have some things that might be worded different or rephrased.
