Just coming back to this chapter to say that if you ever have this formally published, this chapter would make a perfect end chapter for a "Book One". It just so neatly rounds out Mai's Hero story, from shrinking violet nobody to strong and excited heroine. While you have written other chapters since then, and while I certainly want to read more about this character's adventures, if this was the very last chapter ever written, it would still be a fantastic book. Thank you so much for writing this story. It was such a joy to read. I intend to share it with my teen daughter once I think she's old enough to handle the graphic violence. (In a few years) But I think she will enjoy it. I know I have. I hope we can get a hard copy by then. Thanks again!
