April/May News

So as some of you may have noticed, more than a few days have passed since Remedy's latest chapter and there was no update posted to finish it just yet. To which, I have to say:

My entire April plan got blown to bits and scattered to the winds.

Some horrible Tax shenanigans and awful changes to my student loans I had to figure out put a lot of stress on me early in the Month. Then I volunteered to house sit for my parents while they went on vacation and take care of the family dog for three weeks.

The things is, our dog is INCREDIBLY bound to my mom, as in he follows her everywhere and starts howling or barking if she leaves without him. He is also a very hyper little guy and has no limit to his energy. Meaning, when my parents left, he was both depressed and determined to be break as many rules as possible while demanding attention. It was NOT a good combination. His behavior quickly devolved and only got worse as time went on. What didn't help was me getting food poisoning, recovering from it, and then proceeding to come down with an awful flu that's been hounding me the past week and I'm only now just recovering from.

So, yeah. I got about 2.5k word of writing done for Remedy's chapter update, and a bunch of notes for MGG done but nothing else. For that, I do apologize. I know I said MGG would get an update this month, but it just isn't possible.

To make up for that, here's what's going to happen:

First: When I finish this update for Remedy, I'll post it, update the latest chapter so it is now "complete," and make it available to EVERYONE.

Second: MGG WILL ABSOLUTELY be the next story receiving a chapter, and when it is done, it will be immediately available to EVERYONE.

This means I won't have any Patreon-exclusive content for a bit, but everyone here has already been so generous that I'm going to take a leap of faith that numbers won't drop too drastically. I already can't thank everyone enough for the support they've shown me.

That about wraps things up for me on my end. I'm looking into some things to help stabilize things in my life so I can focus on writing more, but that's definitely a long-term plan that needs some work. Hopefully I'll see you all again relatively soon when I finish the Remedy chapter update.
