Trying to survive in Brockton Bay was enough of a struggle even before losing the ability to speak and triggering with superpowers. With nobody to turn to and a rare set of powers that would have the gangs trying to recruit her by force, a young girl decides to find safety while pursuing her ultimate dream by joining the heroes. After all, even if she has no powers that would let her directly fight villains, she can at least heal those that do.

Remedy is a Worm alternate universe story focused on an original character with healing and support based powers. This story also aims to be completely accessible for those unfamiliar with Worm. For those who are familiar, expect significant changes.

At its heart, Remedy aims to be a look at the life of becoming a healing-based hero while still including intense moments of action. Expect lots of character development and slow build-ups leading to crisis moments. For those curious about Remedy’s power, it is loosely based off the idea of a White Mage’s capabilities.

As of right now, I’m unsure where Remedy will be posted. Most likely, it will be on Spacebattles and I might add it on Royal Road later.

A few last things to note: I'm not afraid to make changes as I go for Remedy. If I make a small mistake that somebody points out, I may go back and correct it. Just note that because Remedy is a heavy AU, the timeline of Worm and certain things that have happened may have been altered. I may also be accepting some beta readers who are familiar with Worm or Worm fanfiction, but I'm undecided on that point as of yet.
